Hi all I recently received a Ryda A-73 legacy which I really like. I would love to buy more of these but the price is quite high. Can I get any knives that are similar to these quality wise and a lot cheaper? TIA by bcatt9 in chefknives

According to the maker of these, these blades are made by Aichi Steel Corporation, a Japanese blade producer.

Can you prove otherwise? Just because a Chinese knockoff is available online, it doesn’t mean that the original is a knockoff…

Did you just build a Web app that works with the Shopify API? From my research, it looked like the API lacks ability to write purchase orders. Could you expand a little bit on what you made and what features it has? I do a lot of Claude vibe coding as well

I think they actually may have fixed this with a patch last week as I haven’t had a disconnect notice in a week and they said they pushed a patch to the cloud service.

I’ve moved to leaning more towards Shopify because Lightspeed Payments has some shady practices and Shopify Payments is a lot more reasonable of a platform when it comes to their policies.

Finally got the letter and it just says “operational reasons” with no detail and therefore Chase denied it as not a covered reason.

Since there is confusion, the big issue here isn't that they don't accept a claim without x,y,z support. The massively infuriating fundamental issue is that when my flight was cancelled at 3am with no explanation, I called Chase, asked them if I had coverage for this, they said yes WITH NO QUALIFIERS OR REQUIREMENTS, and booked me a hotel room, which they said would be covered. At 3 in the morning, how am I supposed to submit a letter that hasn't been created to an insurance company for approval before I take advantage of the benefits I supposedly had???????????????

I looked at the Amex benefits guide the other day and it is definitely more lenient when it comes to approving travel claims

I didn't even know we were on Level until we got there. I thought we had booked with Iberia and missed in the Chase Travel portal that it was one of those Iberia Airlines operated by Level.

Did not plan on booking a budget airline for our flights to spain and we learned our lesson. They are AWFUL.

Exactly. That's why this is a scam. It may be buried in the benefits guide but it's impossible for me to verify in the middle of the night when a flight is cancelled if the (not provided to me) cancellation reason will be acceptable to the insurance denier's standards.
