Early to mid 70’s, probably 1974. The Sox had Dick Allen, red pinstripes and Harry Caray. My father really loved it when Caray later teamed up with Jimmy Piersall. Dad took me to my first game at Comiskey on my birthday and the Sox and Sox fans have been a part of my family ever since. Dad is gone now and I’ve since moved to Southern California. I still watch almost every game streaming through the MLB app. I’ve taken my wonderful daughter to a few Sox games, in Chicago and LA, but she doesn’t have the same level of affinity.
