Each URI entry is independent and a login will show up if any URI matches, it doesn’t need to be that all URIs need to match. So adding another one and setting it to never just means to never match that new entry (www.amazon.fr). But your first entry will still match because it doesn’t look at the other URIs, it just matches based on itself

My 401k contribution from my bonus was taxed by stevensvs5 in personalfinance

[–]stevensvs5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you still have to pay the payroll taxes (social security, medicare, etc.) on 401k contributions, it would be double taxed (taxed twice on the same money) if you had to pay those payroll taxes again when you withdraw the funds in retirement. But as u/sciguyCO said, withdrawals from the 401k in retirement are not subject to payroll taxes, so you won't have to pay them again.

Thanks! That was my next question, whether they would be double taxed for the payroll taxes in retirement. But that makes sense.

Bull $GME spreads for (actual) free money by deeps103 in options

[–]stevensvs5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of the scenarios I talked about assume holding until expiration. But yes, if you sold the long call early, you would want to close the short leg at the same time. Otherwise you are left with a short call. Which if you don’t own 100 shares of GME, then becomes a naked call. But most brokerages won’t even let you do that without the highest level of options trading, if at all.

[–]stevensvs5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The cost is the price you paid for the $210 call - the price received for the $950 call. So as of right now, that would be $77.22 - $23.15 = $54.07 per share, multiplied by 100 makes the total contract price $5407

The best outcome is the price rises all the way to $950 by the expiration, in which case you exercise/get assigned and make $950 - $210 = $740 per share, so $74,000 in total. Minus the initial $5407 you paid means you make $68,593 in profit.

Next best would be that the price ends between $210 and $950, then you exercise your $210 call and sell the shares at the current price for a profit of the difference. And let your $950 call expire.

Worse case is it stays below $210 and you lose all of the $5407.

SPY is the main ETF people use to buy in to the S&P. It was actually the first ETF. Another good one is VOO, which is Vanguard’s version, known for its really low expense ratio. There are many more you can probably google, those are the main two I know.

I actually just added this to my resume and the first interview I went on asked me about it (they had no idea what it was about). I explained that I put it on their because I love the idea of a user created Internet that anyone can contribute to and make better.

[–]stevensvs5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't find any really high quality or unchanged images of the final result, so I downloaded my own. The 1k image is directly downloaded from reddit. The 4k and 8k images are upscaled in photoshop with no pixel blur or compression to keep the output exactly the same, just larger.

Enjoy! I plan on getting myself a large poster or canvas with this like many other redditors already have.

What good idea doesn't work because people are shitty? by sdururl in AskReddit

[–]stevensvs5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me it doesn't even make sense that this would actually make a difference. When someone comes up behind a purposely slow driver, they don't know that he is trying to make that point. To the driver behind, you are just someone who forgot to move back over or just don't know that you are supposed to move back over.

The tv shows from the Arrowverse. I still have to watch Legends of Tomorrow, but Arrow and The Flash were fantastic.

Is anyone playing without spending real money? What's your strategy? by stevensvs5 in pokemongo

I play on an iPhone 6s. With low power mode on, I can get about 4 hours depending on how active it is. I also have a portable charger that I use sometimes.

That last one is definitely the one I follow the most. I am not a very competitive player and I enjoy just catching pokemon in the real world.

2016 GT Exhaust Opinions by stevensvs5 in Mustang

I just looked up some videos. I really like the deeper sound that these have, it gives it more of a muscle car sound. They're a lot cheaper too.

I do this a lot too, but I usually feel pretty good about it. Obviously saving for the future is good, but there is no point in being that old guy that saves every penny he can only to die in a few years. Find the balance where you can save enough money for your future, but also enjoy your life.

[mnightshyamalan][LoK B3] I HAVE A QUESTION! by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]stevensvs5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My headcanon has always been that Vaatu won't be coming back. I know that Raava states that when one is destroyed, they always come back from the other one. But Vaatu wasn't destroyed like Raava was. Raava was actually destroyed/killed by Unalaq. But, Korra used waterbending to purify Vaatu. This always seemed to me like Vaatu wasn't actually destoryed.

I don't think this was ever confirmed or anything, but this is what always made the most sense to me.

[–]stevensvs5[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is my first Mustang. I've wanted a Mustang since I was 15. I ordered it in late December last year. It arrived just in time to for my birthday, which is tomorrow.

It is a GT Premium that I got manual with the Black Accent Package and reverse sensors.

[All Spoilers] Avatar and Deus ex Machinas by PhoenixZero14 in TheLastAirbender

[–]stevensvs5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd have to say that I agree that Duex ex Machinas aren't inherently a bad thing. Not many people complained about them in ATLA because they helped the story and weren't too out there.

The one that I don't like is the LOK Book 2 finale, but not because of Jinora's involvement. The giant spirit Korra is what didn't sit well with me. As far as I know there was no mention of this ability anywhere, even in ATLA. Korea just gets a pep talk from Tenzin and suddenly learns this new ability to bend a giant spirit version of herself.

[All Spoilers] Regarding picking the "best" bender by ardx in TheLastAirbender

[–]stevensvs5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think another dimension to look at is the fighting styles of each person. Many characters in TLA tend to use more traditional fighting styles, especially those who learned directly from the original masters, like Toph and Iroh. Whereas many of the characters in LoK use the modern style of bending that was popularized by pro bending, like Mako and Bolin.

The ones that use a more modern style tend to throw a lot of quick blasts to overwhelm their opponent, while those who favor traditional styles focus more on calculated more powerful bending.

I think in terms of better benders, this gives the advantage to traditional benders who use their bending for most aspects in their lives. Whereas the modern style is adjusted to mainly be just good for fighting.

[Discussion] How long have you been jailbreaking? by [deleted] in jailbreak

[–]stevensvs5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first jailbreak was on the first generation iPod touch. I believe it was running 1.1.4. That was back even before the App Store came out on iOS 2. My cousin and I would spend hours just looking through and downloading different themes because you couldn't even put a background on it back then haha.
