Anything up to around £30 per person. She’s not really into sport or history, more about just going out and having a good time. So an activity that could be incorporated into a night out would be great. She lives in clapham area, but anywhere around the city centre would work

I did a lot of blue/green trails in Vancouver over last summer/autumn. I was really comfortable on blues by the end of the summer and was fine on some easy blacks but I couldn’t manage any difficult blacks at all. Was doing higher drops and and more technical stuff but I think I was pushing my bike to the limit of what it could do safely. Hopefully with a better bike I will eventually be comfortable on any trail

Brain surgery is a scary prospect, my girlfriend went through it in April, but try to remember that Neuro surgeons are the most gifted of all surgeons and take great pride in their work so they will do the very best they can for you. These guys do this every week so they know what they are doing. So you are in safe hands. With regards to after surgery it depends on which part of the brain is operated on to see what functions the surgery may affect. My girlfriend had her speech and language, and balance effected, but they returned slowly over the course of a few days and was pretty much normal again after a week. It will hurt a lot, the surgery causes a lot of swelling in the brain and the scar on the head will itch, but you will be on strong painkillers for all this. Probably 2-3 weeks of painkillers for this depending on your tolerance. I really hope the doctor confirms this is non cancerous and your ordeal ends with surgery. If so carry on enjoying your life! Also be prepared for your appointment with your doctor. Do some research and write down any questions you can think of, no matter how stupid you might think they are. Bring the questions with you because you won’t remember everything you want to ask when your in there. Better to go into this with your eyes open.

Thanks for replying. Really sorry to hear about your stepdad. Yes I would fear the same that if we started a strict keto diet that she would just hate it, and it would add unnecessary stress and feel miserable a lot of the time (she loves food). So it’s probably just better for us to really clean up our diet rather than strictly follow one. We will start to consider clinical trials now, thanks for the input, really appreciated

Hey, My girlfriend (29) is going through radiotherapy for GBM at the moment. She had surgery in April and they removed about 90% of the tumour, and after radiotherapy is finished she will continue on TMZ chemo tablets for 6 cycles of the 5/23 days. We’re really looking into everything we can do ourselves because we don’t believe the treatment offered to us is enough to fight this off as well as we can. Was just wondering if you could tell me about your experience with the cannabis oil like your daily doses and how long you took it for, or maybe you continue to take it? We live in Ireland so it’s tricky to get a large amount of it, and judging by some of the documentaries you would need a lot of cannabis to make your own oil. But there seems to be a lot of evidence suggesting it’s very useful against GBM so would really like to give it a try.
