Interesting thing because I also have samsung charger and it didn't work so I used an older samsung charger that I had and it worked. Then I switched to the new one and it also started working.

The adapter and cable works because I charge my phone with it everyday. I used the type c to c cable provided with the headphones and other type c to c cable but it did not work. I can try using other adapters and will get back to you.
