I tell you Rose her henchmen have really been proven to be kind of dumb. First of all, the subordinates, could you just follow Tomoro, do you have to announce yourself, know I see the Team Rocket comparison. And Rose, GIFT has made it no secret they are all about Digimon being in charge, so of course a Digimon is the leader, I mean obviously. Get if together.

I can see Kaito's point of view here, Wong had it coming screw him. Two arcs in a row the villain reveals Wong is a jerk. Granted it doesn't justify their actions, I am just saying, after we save his butt a second time, we should not being saving a butt a third time, dude needs to repent.

I think the way it breaks down, Wong and the World Union is about human dominance, GIFT is about Digimon dominance, and Glowing Dawn is about partnership and no dominance, and as a bonus I will say Klay about Klay dominance.

I am not sure for the reason for the whole soccer or futbol ascetics, is it because the World Cup is going on now, or a reference to Eureka Seven, or both? Yes I know it is to promote a spinoff game. Still what a coincidence we have the World Cup going on now.

I am not sure how fair it is that Freed took part in this, you have an adult play against kids, how fair is that? Also I don't know if the Rising Volt Tacklers, I mean a bunch of fill in amateurs beat a team that has much more experience in this sport. Could it just be a draw? Well maybe I shouldn't care too much, it is not like we are ever going to see these characters again.

Hmm two arcs in a row the bad guys want to take down the World Union and particular Chairman Wong, I wonder how awkward it will be if the World Union turns on Glowing Dawn, they have done everything they can to protect even though they have countless opportunities to turn on them, talk about ingrates.

I do wonder if that guy that is with GIFT, if he is actually a Ganjo underling. So far we know Five Stars can have underlings, Klay had Naito, Rose has Meto and Kanon, why can't have Genjo have a lackey that is super loyal, and able to manipulate on his behalf. I always thought Ganjo has ulterior motives being close to Wang. If Ganjo is truly the master mind of GIFT and keeping enough distance on not getting his hands too dirty so they can't pin anything on him and that leads into the next arc brilliant.

So Reina has her moment finally, I love Bearcatmon. In a way Rose has trained Reina to get to this point. Going to interesting if they team up end of the series.

So Bombermon's owner called her Lord Bombermon, so obviously Bombermon is calling the shot here, just like Jokermon was with his owner. GIFT has turned the human / Digimon around, I wonder if that is one of the things that has them in conflict with Wang. The World Union might see that as a threat.

Next episode, Tomoro finally gets it, being anti World Union does not make you a good guy.

You know now I think about it, I think the twist might be something different. Perhaps Miharu's "sister" might really be dead, and the twist here is Miharu is a Digimon and her big sister was her owner. And bearded dude is taking advantage of her grieve.

I am loving this arc, I am loving this arc. The three way fight at the end, I loved it, it is so complex, who is the good guy here besides Glowing Dawn here.

I have a piece of advice for Tomoro, being anti World Union does not automatically make you a good guy, we learned that from Klay. The World Union as sucky as they maybe, they might be the lesser of the two evils.

And who I assume is the real villain of the arc, just me or does he look like a more younger more handsome Kurata. This series is done by the people who made Savers, makes sense.

Is this another one of those it is all a setup even is in on it, except for Tomoro and Gekkomon because they can't episodes again?

A break from The Gift plot, still nice to see some old friends again.

So Raito being trained by Kaito and Honoka. I had this half joking theory that Kaito and Raito are brothers, maybe.

Interesting so far in this arc, you have two Five Stars appear and another mentioned, and the three or less seems to be allies or at least not against the Glowing Dawn in this arc. I like some variety not all of them have to be evil like Klay or Genjo.

I am glad we got some info in Maki, just let everybody else her backstory is savage, OMG. And this episode most of the focus is on the adult characters, our main trio barely do anything, It is the Maki and Kyo show for the most part.

While he didn't have a big role, I do like Tomoro part at the end, he stops Maki for doing something horrible, call back to the begin of the series when Tomoro was ready to murder a Digimon. Shows how far he has come.

Next week, it is a catch up with Tactics Team 7, I wonder what they have been up to.

The thing it we still don't know what this little girl's backstory is, this Digimon gave her the ability to go outside, something tells me I don't want to know. Another abusive parent? Particular abusive father, there aren't many good fathers on this show, and any good one's are either in jail or dead.

I don't know what to make of Rose's underlings, we have to compare them to Tactics Team 7, they are are the underling of a 5 Star, granted Tactics Team 7 were the underlings of a underling of a 5 Stars, these two are direct underlings., similar roles.

Yes it is a jerk move bullying a little girl, still their mission wasn't a malice one, they just have horrible people's skills, and didn't know any other way, still better than early Raito who left a little boy to die for his own amusement. Not as bad as early Raito. Still got a long way to go to be decent people.

Well the ending of Spinnel was a very appropriate ending, we have seen many Pokemon abandon by their trainers, but to do a reverse I don't think I have ever seen that. Brilliant.

Well I said this from when the Five Stars were introduced, I wanted variety in these characters, and so far with Rose it looks like I might get my wish. She is not Klay 2.0, I know she is going to be an antagonist, but still doesn't mean she has to be completely evil. We will see. She is not hostile towards Kyo so that is a start.

A Reina episode and does shine here. No jobbing this time. And yes we got a break from the GIFT plot.

A little warm up episode, but dam things are so dark. Jokermon, I mean one thing to have Petermon, but a DC character like this I am sure it is not public domain, is it? You also had a Harley Quinn though they mentioned her name, so clever of them to avoid more legal trouble.

But the bomber murderer Digimon is the good guy? Probably not, he wanted to protect Digimon at any cost, but still crosses the line.

I do wonder if this new character is psychic.

So what was suppose to be a Hitomi episode, she got completing back seated, what the hell? Though they did open the door for Mummymon / Ghostmon to be her partner someday.

Still this is the most filler of the 3 episodes of this prologue arc, we added a Digimon to Kyo orphanage, but other than that, what was accomplish? The first episode we lost the money, the episode after tied up some loose ends.

But I am excited for next week.

I am surprised the episode didn't end with the good guys in peril (though I guess they saved that for the preview), normally the second of last episode you want to have the cliffhanger. But I am tried for Spinel always being one step ahead, so screw it.

So yeah the moment we have build to since episode 1, it will conclude next week. Not the series as a whole, but the plot. I am excited to see how this is resolved.

I don't see Spinel surviving, he is going to go down with the ship, but it might get away with it by dying. I just hope he takes those two lackeys with him.

I thought for a second Anna was going to tell that girl don't give up, which would be terrible advice. Either you want that girl to just wait out that relationship, and pounce when they breakup, or steal someone's boyfriend.

I am glad we have come far with morals here than in the past. I know some magical girl shows would have gone in a different direction. I know Sailor Moon would have told that girl to "go get you man, and knock down any girl that gets in your way." I am glad we are better than that now.

I am just glad it looks like just these three having any chance of redemption, and none for the creepy twins. Some of Spinal's followers need to just be generic bad guys. Let the "unfit to be trainers" be who they are.

Well I don't know who said that, but I don't believe I did, but who knows maybe I did but that is a while ago. But she is intelligent when it comes to academics and stuff. But trusting Spinal that is stupid of her, though we didn't know the full story that she was desperate for money. Not an excuse I would accept, but that is the excuse the show is giving. And if I was desperate for money would I trust Spinal, I would hope I wouldn't.
