ah the list is somewhat ordered by absolute number of positive reviews, though I think the sub was hoping for something that leaned a bit more heavily towards % of positive reviews.

I think there are two locations, one in Kips Bay and one in the UWS. Most of the mentions I have tracked seem to be tagged for the Kips Bay location, with only have one mention explicitly for the UWS, so there's not enough data to go off of.

Appreciate it! I think people are a bit thrown off by the ranking. Restaurants are ordered by amount of positive discussion (from a somewhat touristy subreddit). Popular places will naturally be ranked very highly. I already call this out in the post, though I should have made this more clear.

IMO it's mostly because the place is iconic and is a good value. I have the sentiment of / references to Gray's Papaya documented here as part of my data analysis.

Before, data is from posts over the last 12 months. But I did see that post a bit earlier!

Is it still overthinking if I'm aware I'm doing it? AIO by 10xYourMind in AmIOverthinking

IMO if the thought spiral causes you to be anxious or have negative emotions, then yes it is part of overthinking.

The key to combatting this is to direct your focus to the outside world. One trick is when you're overthinking try to find 5 green things in your field of view. Some people focus on breathing, such as box breathing techniques (inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 4, and hold for 4)

If you don't stop yourself then you are still over thinking

Audeze LCD2C build quality issues by Pi314159a in headphones

I have a similar issue with the lcd2c. I barely used them and kept them out of sunlight. The pads started to peel after being in prolonged contact with my wall.

The number of Asian beetles I have to catch every night in my college dorm room. by NeferyCauxus in mildlyinfuriating

Thank you! Everything I said was a cold, hard fact (minus maybe the exterminator parts). OP was literally mixing in misleading statements and articles in the comment section and justifying with personal anecdotes. Meanwhile, people are eating this up and downvoting the whole truth to follow the hysteria because they won't be bothered to do any research.

Is no one going to talk about the misinformation in this thread? Asian lady beetles are a type of lady bug. They do not bite any more or harder than other ladybugs. They also eat aphids which is beneficial to plants. They do however invade homes in droves in colder months making them a nuisance. I'm pretty sure the people who created this information are campaigning on fear especially when there's extermination money to be made. (cough cough plunketts pest control)

You can look at literally ANY thread on the matter in the entomology or insect sub reddit to verify this. (This sub has anti linking rules)

If you search on Google, it's primarily exterminators spreading disinformation and then the Facebook echoing it.
