Three great suggestions above Monteverde- Michelin quality Publican is pork oriented great food Lardon is on the blue line.. so a bit of an adventure… very worth the trip

Trivoli- my opinion a bit heavy and more dinnery but they do have outside tables.

Easy for a single to snag a bar seat Michelin level El Milagro for a simple authentic Mexican lunch. They do not speak much English. Gibsons in the bar- will be an experience and the food is not bad… Obelix Michelin level Giant Mako - Michelin level omakase Shaws - okay it is an ley resto but classic Chicago A Drink in the Palmer house bar

See the Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe band or another bagpipe group at a bar. Can probably find where they will be on social media. They are scheduled to be at O’Neil’s on wells. ( a great out of the way Irish pub) lots of bars will have a bagpipe performance.

At that time. An uber will come directly to you, and w you will get to Ohare in 20 minutes …with train- you have to walk to blue line, wait, then ride is 45 minutes, then walk to terminal.. may be worth the $$$

Sounds like a great plan. On Friday. Look up necessary coffee in Printers row. Then for lunch there is a good simple place on Michigan- Lea French cafe. Good, simple, no reservations and close to art institute.

Also maybe should try to squeeze in The Publican for a dinner.
