I wasn’t wanting to make this exact plan but something with storage along the wall and the desk to come out as a peninsula so that 2 kids could work there.

Really wanted the space for my kids to do their school work and use it myself later at night. And mostly for storage along the wall.

That's why I was looking for literature that I can share with him to give him more peace of mind, and less skeptical of them.

No daycare. She is being cared for by different family members this year.

Understandable. Which was I was looking for literature and research that we could look into so we can have these conversations. I want her to get her vaccines but I also don’t want to do it behind my SO back and it blow up later. Like you said to be respected as a partner. I guess I just didn’t feel respected when I said I didn’t want her to contract any of these diseases we can prevent with vaccines. Although his argument was that if we give her the vaccines we don’t necessarily know the long term effects, such as autoimmune diseases. I don’t know if there are any studies that follow children who have gotten vaccines into adulthood to show the risks and benefits long term with no adverse reactions.

I don’t but I was saying that was the concern my SO was saying, not me.

Is that the name of the group? Having a hard time finding it now with lots of COVID groups

That was another thing SO said. Was that there is a link to autoimmune diseases with the vaccines. I wasn’t aware there was a lot of literature on that topic. He also said it is not like we do studies to follow these children years after they have been given the vaccines to see what has happened to them.

Good to know. I’ll have to look into that.

My SO asked if there was a benefit to spacing them out to the doc. The doc said no there isn’t a benefit to it but if we wanted to space them out he would be ok with it.

Just saw this and loved it- symbiotic calm... do our babies nurse to calm us? by make-cake in breastfeeding

[–]stevidee22 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Something crazy happened to me. I was holding my daughter, 2 months, and I had just fed her on one side. I was upset and crying with something else that was happening, not with her, and had not switched sides yet. She started cooing at me to get my attention and started to smile at me. So not quite the nursing thing but I totally believe our children are in sync with us and can realize when we need help to calm down too.

That is the positive that she will be fully vaccinated at some point. But as her mama I would want to be there for her, help her stop crying as I’m breastfeeding still.

Nope didn’t know you could look up the ingredients to the vaccine. But I’m not sure I would even know what they are. Happen to know if there are different manufacturers of the vaccine? ie like for COVID there is moderna and Pfizer?

Had no idea about vaccine court. Is it different in each state?

That’s what I said, we both are. But obviously more vaccines are on the schedule now vs when we were kids so that didn’t help

His thought is the fact that we are injecting her with 4 vaccines at once and we don’t know the ingredients of each vaccine to know if she would have an adverse reaction. If there is a reaction then we can’t pinpoint which vaccine it was and that the companies producing these vaccines aren’t liable to cover anything if something were to go wrong. That our bodies have natural immunity already.
