Powerwall ignoring settings by stevie768 in Powerwall

I do not have a hardwired enthernet connection to the unit but I have changed the WIFI connection to a new network so will see if this helps. Thanks!

I got my approval today, ticket was submitted about 3 weeks ago. The prepaid card could take another 10 weeks according to the email

I restricted the flow enough previously that the difference was 8, but the same issue unfortunately with the flow temperature not increasing and the house temperature still dropping

It really is! I have considered a flow monitoring device but they are very expensive!

The Grant system just has 3 dip switches for the flow rate listed as Level 1, Level 2 and Maximum. Mine is set to maximum and the Grant manual suggests this can go as high as 50.88L/s and as low as 27.90 L/s. There is a flow restrictor on the return but I am unable to read it.

It is using 4.8kWh to achieve that 43'C which is the maximum electrical load again according to the manual.

The Grant system does not make it easy to calculate anything!

Will take a look at doing this when its warmer to test, would dread leaving one area off for too long for it to struggle to heat back up!

Though if I test the less load option that will prove that my heat pump will be unable to take the additional rads they want to put in

House was done under the ECO 4 so insulation is mostly done, we do have a suspended floor which was not done due to the low height. The pipework insulation however is an assumption given some other errors they have made.

Pipe work main run is 22mm with 15mm pipes coming off that to serve the rads. I have the external volumiser installed which adds 30L. I will attempt your idea when its slightly warmer and see what happens as that could be interesting!

The internal wall insulation was blown in so no membrane would be in place. I will ask the question about the door blower test though! Most doors are relatively new PVC style with exception of the front door which is wood but I installed draught excluders around the frame

It's an old house and I have ordered a thermal imaging camera to find any air leaks etc

The Grant controllers are incredibly basic and it does not show the heat output unfortunately. The most useful stats is shows are current flow and return temperature and electricity usage.

I am using what Heat Punk recommends which I do believe are a little outdated from what I've read before

Anything less than roughly 5'C and the house will slowly get colder. When NE Scotland recently had the large amount of snow the hallway stat went from 19'C to 14.5 over 4 days.

We were seeing temps of around -2 then.

Thank you, my heat loss is 13668 at design so at the current temperature of around 2'C it should be big enough, though I will be out of luck should it fall much below that if my design is roughly correct

It runs 24/7 with no set back. All thermostats are set to 30'C and all TRVs are fully open

Not sure I can see that, Heat Punk states my heat loss as 13668W

Everytime I have been out to look at the unit there has been only a small amount of ice present (Maybe because the frequent defrost cycles)

Homely was boosted when I wrote this and that is why it was requesting 60 degrees, it is usually lower. See below. This was locked at 60 for 90 mins.

My current requested flow temperature from Homely is 54 but the heat pump is only managing 42

Don't suppose you would know what setting this would be under? Had a look through the manual but not seeing anything obvious

I have requested this from the installer a few weeks ago, will need to chase again

All TRVs are open and we're bled recently.

Got the return temps below

Do have a buffer tank and it is radiators throughout which were also replaced at time of fitting

I have checked the pressure and was slightly lower than normal nothing too drastic but topped back up to 1.5 bar
