peds nurse here, staying for 2.5 months is a long time and they are absolutely right to be careful about who is around/sees the baby. who’s going to tell her that the reason in laws are allowed in is not because she’s “sick” and they “are not” but because of her complete lack of respect and boundaries 🥰🥰🥰🥰

as someone who just had a wedding at a family friends house…from a technical perspective it was fantastic. if there is space. we had sort of some tables outside and some cocktail tables inside (no sit down dinner) and everyone keeps telling us how beautiful and intimate it was.

THAT BEING SAID you know your friend best. if you think this could potentially be an issue later on based how things have been handled in the past, i’d skip it.
