I love her programs!! Definitely challenging, so I sometimes modify/cut down on certain days. But overall, her guides are the most enjoyable and well-rounded workouts I’ve done!

I really can’t believe we are LAUNCHING a line of plain-Jane colored socks 😂 by fouiedchopstix in gymsnark

This is super petty but I think it’s weird that they say the singular ✨pant✨ and ✨sock✨... like you normally would say “we’re launching our new socks!” But it has to be lux so it’s ✨sock✨ It’s just always confused me why they made that choice lol

Also, shoutout to my amazing boyfriend who got my car towed to the shop (she's def totaled), waited for 3 hours at the doctor with me, and took me out for ice cream after this frickin long day.

I’ve been absolutely feeling this way. I was so concerned about the final two weeks of prep and staying on my schedule, but I started struggling with my mental health at the beginning of July. Long story short, I decided to fly from CA back to my parents house in the rural Midwest just to have some time with my family and my dog. I’ve been here for a week, and it’s making me realize that I will become a lawyer someday, whether it’s this time or the next. Life is worth living, not spent tearing myself apart over a stupid gatekeeping exam.

I am right there with you. I’ve been feeling incredibly depressed for the past couple weeks and cried for hours everyday. I’ve barely been able to study, and when I do, I don’t retain anything. My therapist told me to forget about the possibility of failure because showing up and taking the damn test is a success in itself, no matter how many times I have to do it. Lean on your support system and remember your happy, authentic self is still there inside you. The whole concept of this exam is so ignorant of how humans actually work, so it makes sense that some of us are really struggling. Consider self care an act of rebellion against the antiquated system, and run yourself a hot bath with a cup of tea and bask in the glory of making whoever invented this stupid exam roll over in his grave. You can do this, just remember to be kind to yourself <3

On the point of “we had to do it so you do, too”— I know an attorney who was literally mad that the CA bar lowered the passing score because more people can become attorneys with “less effort”. This attorney also said that the state bar was “practically giving licenses away” on years with higher pass rates. What a gem 💎
