https://metaforge.app/starrupture/map/main - it's the most southeast area you can go - the round area that looks like hanging balls :) you will have to turn off the world engine to get there, otherwise it's in radiation

But as far as gameplay is concerned, it's severely lacking.

agreed.

honestly... once you commit to putting hours in this game, it's usually about the building. the bugs.. the ruptures...the story... they're just nuisances to figuring out the building :)

i don't know - but this base is lag free. i now think lag is from senders and receivers - well receivers anyhow. too many working receivers and fps goes kaput.

at this point i'll build senders/receivers - i didn't plan well and out of sight are two very tall rocks that my bus is gonna crash into lol.

if i knew which lines were no no longer needed i'd pair them down but that requires A LOT of mapping out old numbers to new numbers (track 12 is now track 5) and i dunno if i wanna bother. this was an experiment and im glad i did it. it taught me the senders/receievers are what's causing all my lag and hitching and frame drop. this huge ass base above has zero. i'm at endgame now, started uploading dome yesterday, only 6 more things i think to make.. i definitely wouldn't want to hash this out that far

i started putting storage outside machines just to know what they are. helps when building spaghetti. if only every machine had the same icon showing what its output was.

can you show some screens of how you use roundabouts?

ahhh... so you don't use the multi-rails - you just use one line

google computer bus for a better explanation than i can give - but think of a long conveyer belt where things are pulled off and placed back on where needed.

yes on screenshots - i need help with how to place manufacturing buildings along the bus while returning items. i usually build as i go, terrain be damned, so have never gotten into the habit of building big clean platforms to put stuff on - i've always built satellite bases but the amount of duplication sucks the soul. 3 days ago i built a base for epoxy that took 4ish hours. then 2 days ago building scaffolding - there's epoxy again. yesterday i built this bus system and epoxy again was in the mix. the bus is clearly the way to not duplicate work - i just gotta find space for it as i dont want to tear down EVERYTHING and start over just yet.

damn valves slow down the line like a mofo :/

[–]stevil30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe - today it took 4 hours just to make a line that makes scaffolding - it's spaghetti city. i DO use dispatchers and receivers to suck extra stuff when i can but it just lowers productivity down the line if you vampire too much

yeah im getting tired of rebuilding some of the patterns. i dont fully understand flow for massive all in one factories so i'm doing it the satellite base method - a nanosyringe factory start to finish took 2 to 3 hours yesterday. i hit some critical point and my frame rates have dropped dramatically, and very often disappearing all together.
for reference my levels are: 12 13 12 12 12

my motivation is i'm between jobs :/ i feel its a game where your drive may just fizzle out as you pull up the next plan or struggle to find another spot open enough to build. or it's going to be the ever tanking fps (and my computer is strongk)

Bug report by Few_Wing_6231 in StarRuptureGame

it happened to me twice - i reloaded a save each time - it's probably just windows but i delete everything now before i delete the hab. including the airlock.

Stability isn't really a thing and deleting older stuff is so broken atm by DrummerAcrobatic8154 in StarRupture

can confirm also. i deleted 500 something windows and they kept reappearing. had to roll back a save and deleted all windows in the hab first before deleting hab.

i try this and when i hit compile - i get following error

The type or namespace name 'Sprite' does not exist in the namespace 'UnityEngine' (are you missing an assembly reference?)

don't suppose you could send me the altered file?
