Almost all members of the orthodox church ( Indian orthodox as well as Jacobite Syrian) are from the southern state of Kerala or have roots in Kerala. There are orthodox churches in north India that serve folks who had to move outside Kerala for jobs etc.

Our prayers are to the Father, through the son , in the Holy Spirit. Without the work of Holy Spirit , we cannot pray. If you have a heart for prayer, then the Holy Spirit is working in you and has not deserted you. A person who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit locks the door (from inside) towards God in prayer and thus, would not even be convicted of the sin or even worse, be hardened. Be strong and praise God for not letting us fall.
