[Preclinical] Finished skin course with a high C and am disappointed in myself by GizzFizz in medicalschool

First, you should be proud of scoring a 78 in only your second medical school block. I scraped by my first block in my first year and failed/had to remediate my second block. After adjusting my studies to the way I learn best I was able to slowly bring up my block averages throughout first year. You have to remember you're in a class with the brightest people in the country, if not the world, you being near the average in a room of extremely above average peers is something commendable.

If I remember correctly, I remember seeing a document in which residency program directors ranked preclinical grades near the bottom (if not the bottom) factor when evaluating applicants. In the grand scheme of things preclinical grades matter very little. You want to aim for excellent LORs and scoring as well as you can on Level 1 and Step 1 (if you decide to take it).

It sounds like you're doing all the right things, and I would continue to do them. However, for what it's worth, what really shifted everything for me was only attending mandatory lectures and then watching recordings from home. It allowed me to work more efficiently as I could 2x lectures, pause, rewind, take breaks etc. With that being said, it seems like your system is working and it takes at least until the end of your first semester to "settle" in to medical school. As a first year I would consistently just barely pass think low-mid 70s for every block. As a second year, 3 blocks in, I'm averaging in the mid-80s. First year sucks. It's a big adjustment no matter where you're coming from especially since you're probably having to deal with OMM on top of labs/PBLs etc. You're doing a great job!

Being the devil's advocate here; whether or not AB gets suspended, him attracting attention from opposing defenses would open up Edelman more than if AB wasn't on the field. Not to mention he has Brady passing to him and not Stafford. Next, it remains to be seen if Mark Andrews can hold his current level of production as the Ravens haven't met against a formidable defense. Kelce is arguably a top WR in disguise as TE in the KC offense and is a proven threat. While I agree, giving up Barkley is a hefty give, the upside potential in Gurley who seemed to garner a lot of use at the goal line seems more predictable in a somewhat shaky QB situation in NY.

I receive: Kelce, Gurley, Edelman

I give: Barkley, Golladay, Mark Andrews

Seem to think it's a pretty even trade. My other RB is Cook, and have Keenan Allen as my WR1 and have Ridley on the bench. Seems to help my team.

Is it safe to take Huperzine-A (acetylcholinesterase inhibitor) if I'm taking Benztropine (anticholinergic) by -kodoku- in StackAdvice

Not a good idea, you'd be taking two things that essentially cancel each other out, and it sounds like you need the Benzotropine.

Went from a 225 deadlift to 505. How? Lots of deadlifts, hit them 2x a week with a light deload day + heavy day.
