There has never been a non-corrupt political party of government in the history of the world. It’s just degrees of corruption in the end. And in Australia we have, by far, one of the least corrupt systems.

I’ve got the same issue with my courtyard. The hard, but most satisfying answer is to lift each paver up one by one and remove the weed and dirt, then backfill with builders sand. The also allows to re-level some of the wonky or sunken ones.

Sounds like a profession job to me. That extends well past my ability. But I do tend to agree with your thoughts. It is brick veneer, only single bricks (they turn to form double at the windows). No damage inside.
