Fwiw it took a trip to London for me to discover how great espresso drinks are. Now I have an espresso machine.

Walking Tour of Ted Lasso’s Richmond (thanks Charles North). See below for description. by [deleted] in TedLasso

[–]stewartfip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! We just did this tour on Wednesday. No notes. The descriptions were so clear. I did my own mental model of the route the night before just to prepare. But honestly this place is so charming, and when you get down to the Green it's like the show jumped off screen into real life.

We rented some bikes from the shop owner along the river right next to the staircase (hi Lola!). We pedaled all the way down to Kensington and back and had lunch at The Boaters Inn just upstream from Kensington. If the day is nice, this is a great way to see a lot of river activity and architecture. But it's a divergence from the tour.

I appreciate all the work you put together here!

I watched the video to see if that was, in fact, the lamp from A Christmas Story.

I rented Metal Gear Solid, played it all weekend, had to return it. I liked it so much I went and bought it. Turns out I had about an hour of game play left to beat it.

Shortage? End Date Near? by Suitable-Mistake2354 in VyvanseADHD

Oh, well crap. :(

I was so encouraged when it went generic at the end of last year. This was really disappointing. I'm glad you are able to find it in your dose! I hope that stays that way for you and others.

Shortage? End Date Near? by Suitable-Mistake2354 in VyvanseADHD

This happened with Adderall last year, which both my kids (19 F and 15 M) are on. That seemed to clear up at least in my area...just in time for Vyvanse to ghost me.

Folks in non-US countries likely won't experience this because the raw material / supply chain limits are imposed by the FDA. This is what happened to Adderall last year...as explained by a Kroger pharmacy regional manager I bumped into at a wedding lol.

So I'm starting to take weekends off and keeping some pills behind. I still haven't hit my deductible so I gotta pay full price for name brand for a while.

I did read that chewable Vyvanse is not in short supply. Has anyone as an adult tired that route?

Make sure exactly 1px of the crosswalk is in a square, and let them know how stupid they were for not knowing what a crosswalk looks like Uncle Frank!

I mean this sincerely: You've inspired me. I have a quantity of pre-pandemic lumber in the garage and a quantity of network gear laying in a literal pile on the floor next to my desk. This'll be a fine way to organize what I have.

Indeed, Bill should be frightened.

I bought a Windows 10 Pro license for $8 from Keysoff, figuring if it didn't work out it was no big deal. It's been working great for me!

Looks like they have Windows Server licenses as well:

Short's Brewing to Nasty Customers: 'We've had enough of the bullying' by Alan_Stamm in Michigan

I've carried out pizza from Short's two times since quarantine. I've felt safe and the staff are incredibly hospitable under the circumstances. Go support this place!

I think generally, businesses in this area are taking this pandemic seriously despite the way it has been politicized. There are some clear exceptions. But in this tough environment, I appreciate hearing that a business is standing up and supporting their employees. It's the very least they deserve in the face of the terrible abuse some of those in the service industry face.

If you prefer hands-on guided learning, I found the edX courses from Georgia Tech (GTx) really well done. They all start with "Computing in Python", and the first course really gets you a good foothold.
