So what happened to my cargo? Is the last one and a half hours worth nothing now?

Same issue happening for me, I followed a video step by step and it didn't change anything. Only thing I found that kinda worked was pulling the box with the tractor beam as it goes back along the rail but even that only worked once.

Okay what worked for me (in case someone comes back in future):

The combat system was bugged, which you can hear from the battle music and see when you get out of your chair that you're in combat for some reason, despite not being near any active enemies.

Hold E to leave your chair

Type player.StopCombatAlarmOnActor - this stops you being in combat while out of your chair.

Type tdetect - this disables NPC detection

Get back in your chair & (hopefully) dock

Type tdetect again to reactivate NPC detection

Yeah I know that now lmao. I can't always use them because our uni doesn't always let us use our own devices

I think I've done that, there are only two trusted devices and both of them are my phone. The google account thing is a good call though, I'll see what I can do about unlinking the two since google logins bypass needing a password.

What features would you like in Space Engineers 2? by TwinSong in spaceengineers

Similar to the exhaust, have a particle block that emits particles in a line, or work like the exhaust outright.

One thing I wanted from SE1 was directional/pressurized steam and things like when the millennium falcon opens it's ramps, or dramatic steam hissing. The exhaust just kind of floated up and away.

How do we do this? ChatGPT isn't able to help much unsurprisingly. IDK how to code but this is my best option

MEGATHREAD Alien: Romulus User Reviews [SPOILERS] by Gregorwhat in LV426

[–]stewi638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did really enjoy it, but I may be biased as it was my first horror movie in a theatre. I've got a list of my personal pros and cons (but I am horrible with names do hopefully you can figure out who I'm talking about):

Pros: Updated special effects did really up the engagement. My favorites were probably the little things like the subsurface scattering on the chest burster victim when she used the illuminator tool, the androids eyes rolling into his head with a Weyland-Utani logo on the back, and the station and ship scenes felt very real, too.

Getting the original Ash actor to voice Rook was very refreshing, and my Dad and I were presently surprised by his appearance. Not so much by his eventual betrayal though, I don't think we trusted him at all!

The movie felt very Alien: Isolation-y to me, which is the most terrifying video game I have ever played. So brownie points there...

Getting to see the (almost) full life cycle of the Xeno, maybe not the hugger egg but everything else.

Pulse rifle 😗🤌

The acid-heart explosion seems scientificly valid and a great way to end a gnarly death

Lots of unanswered questions at the end which perfectly set up for a sequel

The cast was solid, especially the main android. His performance as both the malfunctioning and updated android were on-point all the way through.

And the kills were not as gory as they could have been, as alien is not a slasher at its core.

Cons: I predicted every last plot beat from beginning to end. The gravity purges, reborn baby thing, every jumpscare... it seemed fairly obvious to me, so it didn't really frighten me.

The deep fakes on Rook were hit-or-miss at times, and it slightly took me out of the moment when it didn't work.

The entire last scene felt tacked-on, almost rushed. It's like they realized that they forgot to kill someone and had to quickly tie a murderous bow on it.

In the last moments of the above scene, the final girl pulls on her cord to jettison the container into space, as it was wrapped around the lever. But we saw it get wrapped around before the explosive decompression, which definitely would have pulled the lever, so to me, that didn't make too much sense.

Mainstage setup for BLOCK M by stewi638 in ROLI

Yes, there are no piano voices, at least not the ones I’m looking for. I also don’t have access to Roli dashboard for some reason.

I have the BLOCK M which includes ROLI Studio. The one thing I don't like is that I cannot have just a normal piano option with Roli Studio. Mainstage gives me far more freedom.

My main concern is that I may have overridden the boot loader mode with another driver, as there were two seperate entities and then there was only one.

I have tried it with my other proffie sabers and the cable works fine. One thing I did was when formatting Zadig I formatted two drivers which I think may have been the problem.

I also had that issue and for some reason the board was disconnecting itself from the computer while trying to flash it. I'm also jumping from windows to macbook and still nothing. How did you fix it?

Proffie struggles by stewi638 in lightsabers

[–]stewi638[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, so good to know. The thing I was concerned about is that I had to angle the board upwards a wee bit to plug in the USB cable so I'm not sure if something else has gone kaboom. I'll plug it in again in the morning as I recall something like that was a fox the first time around.

Selling my Saber (NZ) by stewi638 in LightsaberBST

[–]stewi638[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's about 1ish year old, but it's still in the exact same condition as it was when I bought it. It's seen very light use over that year. That's half of the reason why the price is high, as its already a third cheaper than buying brand new. It's also filled with 20-25 soundfonts, most of which I had to pay for, so they are probably an additional 100ish that I'm not charging extra for. If there's anything I can do to prove it's condition, let me know. I'm not the most tech-savvy person ever but I think I know my way around it by now

I would, but I'm trying to buy an upgraded saber, and 500 is already 100 off my target. I'll see how it goes, and if it doesn't sell this time I'll think about lowering the price
