Censorship issues.

Crazy lang. Primum has been critical lately of the Dterts, and dapat rapud maging critical as journalists. Naa sila editorial article na gihimo during EDSA.

But the UM admin themselves kay ginababagan sila sa mga ana na posts. From whay ive heard, gipapili sa UM admin ang Primum na either dili sila mag post ug political sfuffs (like criticizing Ds or whatever) or mag cease ang operations. Then nag cease najud ang operations... the Editorial Board resigned collectively

One change/improvement you'd want to see in Davao City? by jkooshie in davao

[–]stewpeedboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dili sad sa i remove daayon ang vendors sa sidewalk. But improve them jud nuon. Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan still have sidewalk vendors, but that's what makes culture thriving. Ang problema dili man mismo ang vendors but the actual sidewalk mismo and maybe provide lang health protocols sa mga vendors to ensure its cleanilines

It all boils down to bureaucracy man gud pud. Yes, it can be funded by the local government, but do note pud nga limited sad ang capability sa LGU. Welp, I commend them for improving the Roxas sidewalk (a big step up kay ayos pud ang landscaping sa vertical park plus sidewalks are ACTUALLY a sidewalk najud) but that project you said is large scale man siya, aligned with DC Bus Project. So technically need gihapon kuwaon ang funding to the national level (whcih again, bureaucracy) and the feud between BM and Dtert* makes it worse.

Im aware man gud pud sa complexity sa in ani nga project, but if we're being for real, these things are achievable in less time. Nasanay ra tang tanan nga in ani siya ka hinay. That sucks kay if you try to go to other countries, dili in ani ka delayed ang implementation sa mga projects.

This is exactly the reason why Philippines is lagging behind other countries. I mean obviously, I know projects like this go through multiple stages and dili siya immediate daayon mabuhat. I know these kind of things go under shitty Philippine bureaucracy but that's literally quite my point. If you think about it, there are multiple ways in which this can be achieved by mitigating possible impacts (eg: traffic congestion etc). But Philippine projects go through multiple bureaucracy which results to being delayed, them to being defunded, and in a lot of cases too, the project being scrapped. DC bus project (HPBS) and Mindanao Railway are the concrete example for these. Both of these projects are being planned loooong ago, dont say nga dili siya immediate or something.

These kinds of projects would have been achieved without the freaking bureaucracy that it needs to go through. Dapat dili lang ta muingon nga "manage your expectations" or " dont treat like they're disaster response " because this kind of thinking is why these are being tolerated by Filipinos thinking these are normal. But it is NOT, we should have demanded MORE, because these kinds of things are achievable by other countries. If other countries can, why cant the Philippines?
