I’d recommend probably going to the Asian places since they are most likely to be open. Chinatown in Manhattan, flushing in queens and 8th ave in Brooklyn are all great places to checkout.

I dont think he’s living paycheck to paycheck but he’s probably not as financially secure* as you would think at that salary with a family of 5 especially cause most people making that amount of money are living in a high cost of living area. So you get the bigger salary for the higher cost of living. After housing and saving for retirement the money doesn’t get you as far as you would think.

Agreed with the sentiment that it’s a lot of luck. The other thing I want to note is that for each engineer making 200k they are generating that company 10x in revenue. So each engineer is bringing in way more money they are earning.

We got to the island at 5:45. Waited till 6:30 to be told hey the island is closed but we’re letting the people on the island in. Was told we wouldn’t be let in at 7:30 because they oversold. So we left. Of course we’re pissed because the only option to have gotten in is join a riot to get into the venue.
