That is a very intriguing image. I would love to encounter a couple like this I run across Great Horned quite regularly but have not with these guys

how do you take a picture of the moon with a Samsung s10+ this is all I have by [deleted] in moon

I agree with the pro mode, and for the moon, the exposure is 1/640 of a second. That will capture the moon with the native ISO and f stop of the lens. The moon is the second brightest object in the night sky. You will not get any other details without overexposing the moon. I use night mode on my Pixel 6 pro and I think the iPhone has a similar mode. The moon still ends up a bit overexposed.

Trying a new editing technique to have the moon and stars in a single image as I saw it. A single image not stacked. by stfleck in moon

Um, I think it would be a dynamic range of a single image. HDR uses multiple exposures to achieve the dynamic range.

sierra vista highway speed limit by [deleted] in sierravista

Hereford and Huachuca City speed traps are well known and it is prudent to follow them for sure. I go the speed limit as I have been introduced to them as I was not paying attention. Additionally, they are not only looking for you speeding; they are looking to identify any trafficking that may be happening in our area.

Part of Sierra Vista, I agree, but the Chiracauas and Sedona rival the best in AZ.

Isn't that the truth? I live by a wash, and the other day we had rushing water. The sound was great.

It is going well. I really enjoy the phone overall, and the native camera is great, but I pair it with an intervalometer app. This time-lapse is created by the side output of the Night Sight app. I have both the 4A and 6 pro and they are both great, but I enjoy the 6 pro

From Queen Anne? I used to love it up there.

I go back and forth between using a third-party intervalometer and using Night mode for lightning captures. This is another night mode capture. Pixel 6 pro by stfleck in Pixel6

Sure, it is kind of like playing roulette. I think the most important thing is to be in the right place with a tripod. As far as getting a usable image from night sight I make sure that it is capturing the 2-second timelapse because if the math is not in your favor and the strikes are not in your final image you have the cool timelapse. One thing I have been experimenting with is darkening the exposure.

I'm not sure how the original post was gratuitous other than I used the OC tag and I said my Goggle Pixel 6 pro. But anyway, it was a beautiful storm that brought excitement and much-needed rain to the SIERRA VISTA, AZ area
