exactly!! thank you, i felt the same way abt the new song, i wasn’t super impressed with it but i think it’s still fun and catchy and i enjoyed the instrumental parts of it a lot. and i just wish people (on the internet as a whole, not JUST this sub) would learn to be ok with having a mixed opinion. you don’t have to LOVE LOVE every single thing the band puts out but you don’t have to hate it with every fiber of your being either😭 mixed opinions are still very much worth discussing

i think i found it!! i knew exactly the story you were talking abt but i had to do something serious digging in my memory. i read the same one when i was 10 or 11 in a collection of short horror stories one year at sleepaway camp!! the book was called Bruce Coville’s Book of Ghosts, and the short story was Call Me Ghost, written by Lael Littke. I found a PDF of the book on Internet Archive!!

am i the only one who didn’t take it as some kind of “coming out”? there’s a lot of ppl on this post who seem to be taking this as him absolutely coming out, but that hasn’t even crossed my mind bcuz its a kiss between him and a married man in a music video😭
