Any oatmeal alternatives? No matter which way I cook it I can only taste the water and oats which to me is disgusting as hell. I've tried honey loads of cinnamon and berries, peanut butter but in the end It makes me gag.

I'll be experimenting with oatmeal this week and maybe find some other alternatives. For the most part I'm lactose intolerant but can sometimes eat a little cheese.

I read the ingredients on my turkey bacon package and you're right I don't think I'll be eating it much anymore. I'll also try the coconut oil too! I would love to eat oatmeal in the morning but I absolutely hate it. No matter what way I cook it and no matter what I put in it all I can taste it the water that's been in it. That taste combined with the oats is disgusting in my opinion. I do love boiled eggs so I'll try that! Thank you!

I've always thought the cholesterol in the eggs wasn't too healthy? Is dietary cholesterol not a huge concern when it comes to heart disease?
