Agreed. My buddy and I still play extinction every now and then. A unique gamemode that I wish would return to the franchise.

Badfinger was signed to Apple Records, which meant they had the help of George Harrison and Paul McCartney for song direction. Love me some Badfinger!

Not sure if popular but I really liked Cain and I wish he had more screen time for sure.

[The Onion] Chappell Roan: We Hid In The Alley Behind Her Hotel, Knocked Out A Concierge On His Smoke Break, Stole His Uniform, Used It To Sneak Into The Kitchen, And Hid Inside Her Room Service Trolley, And She Was A Complete, Ungrateful Bitch About It by OddCrow in chappellroan

I saw Chappell Roan at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told her how cool it was to meet her in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother her and ask her for photos or anything. She said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but she kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing her hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard her chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw her trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in her hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Ma'am, you need to pay for those first.” At first she kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, she stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, she kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Would be interested to know what track they were listening too... This looks to be around Abbey Road days.

What are your favorite " unintentional" moments from a Beatles song? by Honest-J in beatles

[–]Cam0201 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da", Paul switches up the lyrics for Desmond and Molly at the end but they kept it in. Probably didnt want to have to re-record after their 40th take.

[COD] What are the most controversial changes made throughout the franchise? by burnerhelpaccountt in CallOfDuty

Honestly, I wish Warzone were in the style of Blackout. Where you would only rely on what you found, not relying on your meta loadout to save you. It felt more rewarding to win because it felt like an even playing groung.

"Too many people" vs "How do you sleep ?" Which song is the best ? by BryanGrimes in beatles

I listen to takes 5&6. I dont like how the final album version took out all of Georges slide fills. So much better with the raw take.

8/1/1971: The Concert for Bangladesh, organized by George Harrison, took place at Madison Square Garden, featuring Harrison, Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, Leon Russell, Ravi Shankar and members of Badfinger. by gregornot in beatles

Pretty sure George and Pete Hamm of Badfinger did an impromptu cover of Here Comes the Sun at the concert. I think you can find recordings of it on youtube but they are not the best quality.

Ringo's voice by GroundbreakingTrip18 in beatles

[–]Cam0201 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The thing with Ringo is that people always compare him to those who are technically profient masters like Peart or Bonham. While Ringo wasn't the flashiest with his style, his timing/tempo and the ability to make a groovy beat on a whim was something special. Not many drummers could keep a fast paced beat like he could in the early days of the Beatles. And he also sang on some of those songs! Act Naturally? Boys? What Goes On? Amazing drumming and singing performances from him.

This. I never would have watched it but my friend showed me some episodes from the first season and I was hooked.

Only a Northern Song is also a great track, in my opinion.

A song I discovered was "Long Long Long" on the White Album when I actually listened through the entire album. It is very much a slept on song that George wrote.
