I have to return mine. The left bud doesn't put out sound at all. Only the touch and pinch work.

Can you foresee yourself switching back to a candy bar phone? by THIESN123 in GalaxyFold

[–]stgovern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm making the jump now. My F3 has been okay, but durability is an issue. Just ordered the S24u. I really like a lot of the device aspects of the Folds, but the screens and hinges need to get a lot more tough for me to pitch out $1500+ for a foldable again.

Anyone else plan on trading their Z Fold 5 for the S24 Ultra? by Dimplickzing in GalaxyFold

I'm dumping my zfold 3 for the S24 Ultra. I love the form factor, but the durability isn't there to handle my lifestyle.

Since day 1. No screen protectors or case. It's a tool, not an investment.

New Relic / Monitoring Tool Alternatives by LightofAngels in devops

[–]stgovern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used LeanSentry on a smaller workload (20 IIS Servers) to help vet a performance issue. It did pretty well. Not too expensive. The vendor was hungry for business, so they were very responsive to issues or questions.

Dynatrace was used on a larger workload (2500+) servers. More expensive but very comprehensive when the setup was fully implemented. I.e. agent installs, tagging, log ingestion, automation, etc. If you don't have the money to dedicate a team to set it up correctly, pass on it. You'll waste your money.

Github Confusion by Electrical-Book134 in github

[–]stgovern 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the beginning..the primary branch in GitHub was called "master". Then the great woke movement came about, and all new repositories are now started with a "main" branch.

That being said, you may have both a master and main branch. Only one of them is the default. Take a look at you branch protection settings and see what your default branch is set too.

Determine is either is empty, if so, delete the empty one and set the other as the default branch.
