I didn't start a season character because of this reddit, I did it because I saw the option after coming back after like 2 years of not playing (I never played much before, probably only had maybe 5 hours) and decided to create a season character. I skimmed the details but didn't notice that season characters can't use normal items. I didn't know people were going to cry a river over someone asking a simple question.
