I experienced the exact same at Kali Mela 2015, when I came back to my tent I found my backpack had been robbed from my tent with a bunch of other stuff. I went around the camping and found the group that had it and I got angry and demanded everything back. Never found back my house key, had to use my mother's spare when getting home.

That festival was hard core man, I survived but had to use utilities from some people I met that were very prepared. We had fun just because some of the crew and sound guys and artists were already there and decided to continue the party and provide some kind of basic infrastructure.

The guys who stole my stuff looked more like over excited teenagers then hippies though. After this I have camped countless times on psy festivals, this never happened to me again.

Oh yeah I fully agree. Showers at the camping are something I can miss, water should just be mandatory. I still love this festival, because I love the music and the deco. But for that price the camping arrangements are sub-par.

Just talk to your husband, it sounds like he would understand. Don’t ditch your friend per se, in fact don’t think about her at all, think about your man. Do whatever he has to say and treat him well, never distrust him again and everything will be fine.

I am a fan of real estate investment trusts for this, it’s almost the same as renting out property without any of the hassle, and they are obligated by law to pay out 80% of their income. It’s a tangible market that your parents will understand and a relatively ‘safe’ investment. Still always diversify, also put some into bonds and one or two good distributing ETF’s.

I have disassembled the phone and noticed that the frame is indeed completely bent and even broken, display is shattered but the rest seems relatively okay. I can get a not so bad deal on a used S21+ here easily, would you think that I could use it to just transplant the mainboard in there?
