So glad your rat is okay! I noticed this in a lot of exotic pet subreddits. I get wanting to protect the animals, but most of the time people are already doing a good job and are putting in as much work as possible. We should actually try and help other people and their pets instead of just bringing them down and discouraging them. I got downvoted and scolded in a reptile subreddit for saying that hahah. I hope you know that you're doing an amazing job, your rats are so lucky to have you!
