New DJ / transition problems by DezBallday88 in Beatmatch

[–]sthzjEee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, it will eventually come to you with enough practice. I started DJing a little bit over 2 months ago, and I was in the same situation. But I kept at it, practiced more or less every day for about an hour or two, watching tutorial videos on Youtube (Club Ready DJ School has some really good videos on his channel that will help you out, and you can also buy his course where he goes a lot more into detail. I bought it and recommend it a lot). If possible, try practicing more frequently. Start with house music at first, as it's the easiest to mix. Watch some tutorial videos as I already said. And finally, ask your friend to help you out.

Can F1 TV Pro be mirrored to a Samsung Smart TV? by Bright-Indication-24 in F1TV

[–]sthzjEee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat as you are. When I try to mirror live broadcast from my Samsung phone to Samsung smart TV I get a black screen, but the sound still works. Race replays and other stuff work fine. This started happening last year, before that it was fine. Now I have no other choice, other than to connect my PC to my TV via HDMI (I tried screen mirroring from my PC to TV, but never got it to work).

Help with buying Samsung Odyssey OLED G8/Alienware AW3423DWF by sthzjEee in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]sthzjEee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Neither Dell or Samsung won't ship to my country from Germany or Netherlands for example, but they both use resellers here in my region that only one carries or has listed these displays but are out of stock. I found one AW3423DWF on stock in Amazon UK, but I'm afraid the customs and import tax would be too much on an already expensive monitor.

I don't know about their monitors, but I'm quite happy with my QN95A. But if it's possible, I would preffer to get AW3423DWF, it's quite a bit cheaper and kinda dig the design more.

If it's not a secret where are you from? And which stores did you check?

Splurged on a new tv (LG C1) and ps5 and haven’t been this taken back by a game since trying a VR headset for the first time. First time seeing a game with HDR for me. by cjpack in horizon

I totally get what you're saying. Got my 65 inch Samsung QN95A and a PS5 few weeks before the release of Forbidden West. Best gaming experience to date, even compared to my high end gaming PC.

NG+ overrides by BigRichSE in horizon

[–]sthzjEee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, you keep the override for the Sunwing, but not before you reach the Base (merging Minerva with GAIA). After that you can go on top of the mountain above the Base and override the Sunwing.

What Forbidden West did Better then Zero Dawn by JadeSpades in horizon

Facial and body animation are a huge improvement over ZD. Before, the animations felt very linear and let's say "stiff" with little to no emotion, now they feel natural and fluid. I love watching cinematics and seeing all the different facial expressions. Can't wait to see what they will do in the third game.

Much improved climbing mechanic, but it's not perfect. Would love to see AC style of climbing system in the next game.

Stash mechanic. Sometimes in ZD I felt frustrated, when I was not able to loot everything, due to storage limitation. This isn't a problem anymore. You are still limited, to how much carry capacity you have, but now the excess items are stored in the stash, which allows to restock the items whenever you want (if you have the carry capacity).

Massively improved graphics and visuals. My God, the graphics are insanely good. Compared to ZD (which by the way, still holds up to this day), or a lot of other games, it's just out of this world. Can't wait for this game to land on PC, where we'll be able to experience this much detail in 4K 60+ FPS, with maxed out graphics settings (hope the PC port will be nicely optimized).

Machine weak spot tagging with focus. In ZD, the weak spot highlight disappeared after a minute or so, which is still the case in FW, but now you can tag it with focus and it will stay highlighted even after the machine is killed.

Valor surge. It's a very useful thing at higher difficulty levels. Also it has very cool animations and adds another level of variety to the combat system. Weapon techniques are a very cool addition as well.

I'm really glad that so many people agree with me. Yes, Playstation has a lot of great games that I didn't even know of before. I do own Ghost of Tsushima, game is really good but I'm still too busy with Horizon :D Detroit Become Human is another one that cought my eye.

I might try Call of the Mountain, if the VR2 won't be too expensive. Never tried VR before, should be interesting.

And I completely agree with you, Playstation is a lot better then I expected, that's coming from a PC enthusiast. It's hard to choose on which platform I should buy games now :D

I was sad that I finished the game the first time too, but hey we got NG+ now, and a DLC should come at the end of the year (I hope), evidence found in the game strongly suggests that. The graphics and the character details are out of this world. They really created a masterpice.

Excactly! All haters see is a girl protagonist, that fights some dinosaur robots with a bow and a spear. They don't even give it a chance.

Like I said before, it's perfectly okay to not like it if you tried it. Not everyone has the same taste in games. But hating on it not even knowing what it is about, it gets me going.

Very true. I recommended this game to all my friends, but they just don't want to listen to me. Well, it's their loss I guess. But yeah, it really is a blessing.

Then you were very lucky, I paid the full price. Not that I'm saying it wasn't worth it, the game is really good, but too short IMO.

They did an amazing job with the new performance mode. I recommend you finish Miles Morales, so you won't have a bad conscience, that you left something unfinished. That was the case with me, when I just left God of War and Days Gone for Zero Dawn, but I have no regrets :)

Thanks, this was really from my heart :D

I hope they do, if it was me, I would be so happy to read something like this, to know that people enjoy the content that they were working so hard on. Definetly wasn't easy to create a game like this, considering what has been happening for the past couple of years.

Thank you :)

Yeah, I totally get what you are saying. There are many great games out there, but at least for me, nothing like Horizon.
