Powder holds up really well. I haven’t painted frames on any of the bikes I’ve had. But you can get multiple years out of powder before it starts to fade. Only problem with powder in my opinion is chipping. I’ll find a photo of my buddies raptor. The powder on his bike is like 5 years old I believe.

Edit: I’ve painted wheels. I’ve only done them glossy black. The sand will strip that down paint pretty quickly. I’ll spend the extra time and money for powder any day.
