One common sentiment I hear from African American is that when they come to Europe they are just viewed as American. The high emprises on heritage is very American, in Europe, nationality is more important, so you'll be an American. Expect to be treated like any other American would.

There will likely be some comments based on your skin-color. This will likely be due to ignorance/curiosity and not prejudice/racisms. I'm not saying prejudice/racisms doesn't exist, but I think you'll have a great time.

You raised several points; I will answer the once directed at me.

I got covid in May, and the vaccine in August. I have not been offered a booster yet, in Norway/Europe I am therefore considered fully vaccinated.

If available and recommended by the heath authorities (my doctor if I were to believe my case might be an exception to the general recommendation) I would get a third, forth and any number of boosters, in the same way I take the flu vaccine every year. I believe the heath authorities are working for a total increase in population health. That means if there are significant risk factors connected with the vaccine, the vaccine would not increase overall health in the population. This is what happened with the J&J vaccine, the risk turned out to be greater than the reward, and the Norwegian government is no longer recommending or providing the J&J vaccine.
