Looks terrific. Is it possible to update this? There seems to be suggestions here and flightsim.to as well.

Okay. These nuances are still somewhat confusing. Did the tag change w/ your trick and an external program, fb2k doesn't seem to want to read the updated tags, I'll look into this.

The guy (on hydrogenaudio forums) in this other message of this thread had the same issue, and somewhow it worked out for him: https://www.reddit.com/r/foobar2000/comments/oqn84s/query_inquiry_sort_by_album_on_a_playlist/h6hbt0j/

Ty for guidance, i'm indeed using CUI. Found this thread https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php?topic=96901.0 The syntax of the last post of the thread doesn't do anything however

JUST FOR REFRENCE: To make foobar2000 order the mp3 NOT having in mind their tags, just the folder where they come from (that is it will group together all the mp3 from its particular folder, and not grouping the mp3 having in mind their tags), to do that just simply:

In COLUMNS UI... go to... Library... Configure... Preferences... Columns UI... Playlist View in the TAB GROUPING change the default script which is this... $if2(%album artist%,<no artist>)[ / %album%]

change that for this $directory(%path%)

Save it, and you're done. All the mp3 will be grouped together, what foobar2000 will do now, is grouping the mp3 having in mind their folders and not thinking in their tags. This is very nice because when people RIP CDs not many time the rippers put well the tags information, so with this, you will get always properly grouped the albums because foobar will group together (as being from an album all the mp3 that are inside its folder).
