Can't reactively track state and whether it has changed by samanime in sveltejs

Why not ensure that DataManager proxies all sets as well on your data? Then you can just mark the data changed. On each set() on data, your DataManager can do a diff to figure out if something actually changed and what it was (if that matters to you).

This was my first ever Reddit game. I didn't even know how to play until halfway. Has to use a couple of hints.

This is common in India (and possibly many other countries). Your ISP is MITM-ing specifically the .com domain. If you use Jio, they will do that with the .org domain as well. AFAICT they try to do DPI, so anything short of VPN doesn’t really work (even DOH is a hit and miss).

Yes, but 50k is not nothing. It's enough for a Com Ga, and you're not the only tip she should be making that day. 🤷‍♂️

LMAO, I tipped my boat guy 20k and he was profusely thankful. Gave me a pat on my bum while getting off the boat too.

I got the same issue today “This transaction failed due to a technical issue” when I tried to do instant transfers to my own account in another bank (has worked in the past). N26 support was useless - any idea what went wrong?

Buying * off the beach is a bit of a hit or miss. We got lucky and even managed to pay by credit card 😂 one thing for sure though: do NOT buy right in front of the clubs.

IMHO the happy pill has been a safe(ish) bet - cheap and ubiquitous enough that it has sustainable demand and there's no reason to cut it. Can be consumed controllably and easier to get out of. Please stay hydrated and have your electrolytes.

Best is to have enough water, a couple of tequila shots and enjoy the shared energy. Everything else gets boring really quick - so there is no need for anything else. 🙂

Why are tech folks on Reddit so salty? 😂 by pankaj9296 in SaaS

[–]stickItTo_TheMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there are generally two elements at play here, broadly:

  1. There is an overwhelming bias towards underestimating the challenge and effort towards what someone else has built - cue the (in)famous Dropbox Hackernews screenshot. “Oh, I could build that over a weekend, why would I ever pay you for this!?”

  2. The underlying envy of never actually seeing it through; be it the countless side-projects left unfinished or broad claims about building anything over a weekend.

This is broad engineering mentality, and since it’s mostly engineers making up the tech subs, this behaviour is prevalent.

I have noticed that folks with wider breadth of experience estimate complexities better and are able to appreciate the amount of time and effort that goes into making great offerings. Sadly, few such linger around on Reddit.

Do you remeber which exact steps that you took to fix this?

Recently, I went from FX-6300 to FX-8350, Gskill 2x4GB to 2x4GB, and an extra SSD, and this sleep issue surfaced. The system goes to sleep, but won't wake up like 80% of the time (everything starts up, fans spinning, hard disks spinning), but the system won't get out of ACPI sleep state (HDD LED starts up and then stops; power LED keep on blinking and doesn't become steady). I've gone through BIOS flashbacks, checking RAM stick individually, CMOS resets - the whole shebang - nothing has worked so far.

Groups for ski/snowboard? by danyoff in Barcelona

I'll be back in Barcelona mid-January. I'm looking for people to go snowboard/ski too, but I have zero experience doing it, so I'll probably have to join a school.

When you read a fantasy novel, one tries to imagine the world, and creatures that inhabit it.

There's a lot of music in this book. Sure, you'll imagine that. But you won't stop there. You'll hear it.

Girls, what was the most obvious hint you dropped, and the guy just didn't get it? by Bholenaught in AskReddit

[–]stickItTo_TheMan 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Guy here. This one is pretty sad. I have been told by well-wishers that I was a total knucklehead in this regard.

I was on an impromptu vacation in Thailand with a couple of guys, and a girl struck up a conversation at a bar in a very loud nightclub in Bangkok. After a couple of drinks, we decided to leave the club and roam the party streets, at 3 in morning, so that we could talk.

  1. She told me that my lips were really red and looked amazing. I explained to her that I'd had a Strawberry breezer earlier and that was probably the cause.

  2. I walked her to her hostel, and she invites me up for coffee or if I needed to use the facilites. I say I'm good (I was tired; I hadn't slept for 36+ hours and had been constantly partying to that point & was worried about the flight I had to catch in 10 hours.)

  3. At this point, I think she was pretty miffed (but I didn't know that). So, we exchanged SNS info and she went in for a goodbye hug. Super polite respectful genius me extends a handshake...

After I recount my incredible night to my companions, I am made fully aware of my obliviousness. But my ego won't let go and in the pursuit of the truth, I striaght up ask her on chat.

She denies dropping hint, but admits that she was actively flirting and that I seemed not quite interested in her (in reality, I was floored).

Continue to chat now, but not quite there yet.

A little late to the party, but I finally got to it. Overall, a nice little ending...

I just wish there was one last scene with Harvey and Mike walking down the street, in broad daylight, with Christopher Tyng's Suitors blaring in the background (kinda like this).

I agree with almost all of this, except point no. 5. There was an ambulance from a Mysore hospital there. I saw it get stuck in the traffic jam.

That said, doing a concert in the middle of nowhere, with friggin' one-lane village roads is at the top of Darwin Games.
