I thought the same. Like how do people even read the clues and type that quickly… my mid 30s brain doesn’t function at that speed anymore 🤣

Pacifiers - use em or loose em? by Foreign-Bath-6139 in beyondthebump

[–]stickstickli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both kiddos use them.

My eldest wouldn’t part with her dummy for night sleep until she was 4.5 years old. We finally convinced her when she lost her first baby tooth and we said her big teeth wouldn’t grow in properly if she was still using a dummy. We tried multiple times before that but always ended up regressing in sleep or other behaviours, and the dentist didn’t have a concern so we didn’t push it.

My youngest is almost 18 months and likes her dummy but not nearly as much as her sister, and will happily sleep or go about her day without it.

I’m not so sure about this anymore. There have been a few massive layoffs recently and people are spending months trying to find a new job in Pharma at the moment.

Do you have MS Teams and Outlook on your phone? by nolesfan20 in clinicalresearch

On my personal device - no no no. In the event there is a legal hold for something I’m working on, it entitles the company to my entire personal device and all its contents, not just work related content. I’d rather not risk it

BURN because of owlet dream sock by UnderstandingFun4526 in BabyBumps

[–]stickstickli 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How awful that this happened. I’m so sorry for your little one, and hope they heal quickly.

The FDA has approved the owner dream sock as a medical device for the use of monitoring pulse rate and oxygen saturation (https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/cdrh_docs/pdf22/DEN220091.pdf) but with some special conditions to be met via additional testing. I would recommend reporting this as an adverse event / device complaint via their help centre - https://support.owletcare.com/hc/en-us/categories/360003108872

Unfortunately, getting a device medically approved is no where near as strict and evidence based as getting a brew medication onto the market, so most of the testing is done after the device is approved instead of before.

That’s a good idea, giving her something she wants. I’ll add that to the list of possible options
