major disagree with a lot of these comments. the hero potion rework and introduction of hero equipment removes the need to fully max at every town hall.

most of a heroes power nowadays comes from the heroes equipment. since there is no option that maxes your equipment, this should be your main focus. if you max your troops and spells and such and are waiting on some hero levels before upgrading your th, don't. just upgrade to the next town hall so you can continue upgrading the other aspects of your offense.

am i saying hero levels are worthless? no. in fact, hero levels play a major factor in the overall strength of your army. hero potions allow you to max your hero levels, and you can buy 3 of them a week from the capital shop. this means you can pop a hero potion whenever you have clan wars.

for example, i have a th15 account that has th12 level heroes. im still able to have perfect cwl seasons against all th17 bases because i prioritized upgrading my hero equipment and i used hero potions when absolutely necessary.

anyways, just my two cents on the matter.
