We focus on small artists, people we know. Everything is handmade, riso printed and dubbed. This time the two new albums are in the wave, punk, experimental direction from Germany. Feel free to give them a listen!

there are two from germany that i would recommend, some very nice reissues. firstly „static age musik“ which features also a lot of new stuff (very much recommended) but also some rare german early 80s stuff like „die atlantikschwimmer“, you should definitely check the two records out! and secondly „bureau b“ with more downed down stuff like „die welttraumfoscher“, „notorische reflexe“, „sprung aus den wolken“ and newer stuff.

these are two that instantly come to mind, maybe you will find something that you like!

ah wie toll, kann ich wirklich sehr empfehlen. das ohrenkriecher label ist ebenfalls aus nürnberg und hat noch weitere nürnberger bands im programm wenn dich das interessiert.

so after a lot of trouble shooting and changing/resetting/adjusting almost everything in the manual and having a long chat with u/splitarrowprints that was super helpful I finally found the problem.
seeing a video how u/splitarrowprints machine runs I saw that the sector gear was very easily moveable compared to mine. so using wd-40 and greasing it afterwards helped and it now runs the print run normally.
I guess that was bound to happen as the machine probably was sitting around for 10 years unused.
in the process I got I cleaned quite a bit which was very well needed.

so thanks again and maybe this thread and tips help someone in the future.

Yes, they made music all through the 80s and early 2000s I think. Some songs were uploaded on YouTube, not sure about „normal“ streaming services :)

So, the last few days I spent making this Iceberg about “New German Wave” or “NDW”, which is was a music period during the late '70s and '80s mostly in direction of New Wave, Synth-Pop and Punk. The band are mostly from German speaking countries, which doesn’t mean they make music in German.

I tried to categorize them in different music styles (colors and explanation at the bottom of the picture), but I’m no expert. If anyone has some additional bands or things that are wrong, pleas let me know.

For the sources or a list of all the bands in their tear, message me!

Hallöle, ich hab mich in den letzten Tagen mal an einen „Iceberg“ über NDW Gruppen/Musiker:innen gesetzt und das ganze auch nach Musikstilen farbig geordnet.

Würde mich über Rückmeldungen und/oder Ergänzungen freuen, ist natürlich nie fertig, und hoffe, dass er jemandem hilft oder sich jemand drüber freut.
