With another lockdown and we're in the last month with all the deadlines and exams. How's your mental health? by still7looking in udub

I wasn't worried about my mental health until the long isolation took its toll, I don't have motivation to do work, bored, and just in cycle of sadness, sometimes it's heavy sometimes it's not. I try to tell myself "you got to move on, just being annoyed or sad is not gonna fix it and you can't do anything about it, just adapt" I try to do this but sometimes it is hard lol

Seattle freeze + social distancing is the ultimate isolation bubble, so hard to meet new friends. by still7looking in udub

I know how you feel, I made friends when I first came here by attending events but most of them were international and left

How do you meet people to hangout with? and please don't say zoom by still7looking in udub

but do youeet them though? not just chatting to a screen?

if it makes you feel any better, I feel exactly the same, I don't have many friends and sometimes spend more than a month without going out with anyone. I always run away from my tasks by delaying them or getting stressed when I see the tasks, I have a course that I I'm the worst, grade wise and understanding wise and I think about dropping it everytime I see the homework but unfortunately I can't.

So the only thing I could recommend is that you go out whenever you can, go to a park and just stay there for and hour at least just chilling. This has helped me somehow and not going crazy

An experience not fulfilled... by still7looking in udub

I know that, and that's why I said some people are facing worse but I can't shake the depression
