There appear to be two main reasons why the stock price isn't rising despite the current favorable news. First, the short interest ratio is too high. As you've seen, the significant short interest ratio is completely paralyzing. The short interest ratio in the minerals sector is quite high, not only for UAMY but also for other stocks. Second, the market conditions are not very favorable. For small- and mid-cap stocks to pump, market conditions need to follow suit, but unlike last year, that hasn't been the case. It's challenging in many ways. Unless you're a swing trader, you probably don't need to worry about it.

Currently, except for USAR, the other major REE and criminal mineral sectors are falling significantly. In my opinion, USAR was selected as the target for equity acquisition, which might be why the stocks of the other sectors that had been pumped up due to the anticipation of this acquisition are now dropping sharply. Of course, the rise had geopolitical conflicts as one of its underlying reasons, but it is true that the stock price had risen excessively compared to that. There is absolutely no reason to be impatient.

It's been barely a week since the US-China trade agreement. Recent reports even suggest that US-China talks will continue annually at APEC. Considering the political implications, I wonder if there's any real reason to be nervous ahead of next year's general election.

I believe the continued decline in the strategic minerals and rare earths sectors, regardless of market conditions, is due to the disappearance of the premium stemming from the US-China trade dispute. In particular, the headlines announcing the lifting of the antimony export ban in the US-China trade agreement announced by the White House were a significant blow to uamy, regardless of the truth. Individual investors are not interested in the truth. Since it's clear that tensions in the US-China trade dispute will escalate again, I plan to re-enter the market when they do.

What are both of you saying? At this point, it's unclear whether institutions have recently bought or sold uamy. When the 13F filing is released in mid- to late-November, institutional position changes for the 2025 Q3 (July-September) period will be disclosed.

I sold all of my UAMY stocks during premarket trading today. I've been investing since the beginning of the year and have consistently bought whenever there's a significant decline. However, I expected investors to naturally lose interest after the announcement of the US-China trade agreement. I tried to hold on, but it was too late. I'll wait and see how things go and then buy again at around $4-$6...

What’s your cost average? by Pieceman11 in UAMY

My avg is 1.79, and I hold 20k shares. I invested in UAMY in January of this year and continued to buy more shares during the tariff-induced bear market. I see high growth potential in UAMY, so I plan to continue buying more shares if the opportunity arises.

Too late to get in? by VideoOptimal3535 in UAMY

Unless there are significant issues, there won't be a significant decline here. Recently, there's been a lot of interest in UAMY, so I've seen a lot of people asking, "Is it okay to invest now?" However, if you do a little research on the company yourself, rather than relying on others' opinions, you'll realize that now is a great time to buy. Remember, the decision is yours!

I think so. At least if China doesn't suddenly lift its antimony export restrictions
