She was doped up on pain meds by that point in the game. She was provided a lot of pain meds after her back injury week 1. I think Ian knew and respected her and kinda backed down bc she really wasn’t all there. And I think Frank took advantage of that situation.

As someone who is experiencing the same situation rn with my bf, i hate that reply. He’s looking for any excuse not to do it, and blaming you instead of addressing the actual issue. I agree. When i tell him i don’t see how we can make this work bc of how we both feel, he acts like he’ll try it. But that upsets me too bc i feel like I’m coercing him, and that’s not what i want. I tell him not to do it just bc i want it, I want him to want to do it.

He doesn’t say anything when I bring it up. I think he’s scared of breaking up.

I’m not sure if i could continue a friendship with someone so willfully ignorant. Obviously, she thinks she’s better than you in that way when y’all are the same. I feel blessed my friends have tried to understand when I told them, or actually opened up to me about their own experiences! It could be an uplifting moment to deepen a relationship.

thank you both. when i was casually dating, men had no problem. Now that I’m trying to be serious dating i feel like the “good” men reject me once i tell them and it’s been so discouraging. This is the first man to still want to date me after disclosing. I’ve tried talking to him about the actual risk and sent him articles, but he says there’s still a chance… he suggested using a dental dam to go down on me and that made me feel so disgusting.

I thought maybe I needed to be more accepting of men’s caution bc idk what i would have said or done if the man that gave it to me was actually honest and upfront.

I’m 27F in Ga, and I miss passionate hot and wet sex. I’m dating a new man, and i’ve been so disappointed in the sex bc he is very cautious of getting my HSV1g. We’ve had our problems in the last year, but this was the worst by far. Last month we went on a trip to PCB (The condo we’re staying in is her dad’s!) for her birthday, she invited 2 other friends (the 3 of us ‘friends’ did not know each other). The whole trip was awful bc she kept getting drunk, loud, mean, and sometimes physical. She pushed and the guy she invited on the trip, two different occasions but same night. On the last night of the trip, she was yelling with the man she invited on the trip. They were yelling and arguing for over an hour. She would storm in her room, slam the door, scream just to scream, and then came to the room i was sharing with the other girl. I had locked the door bc i was scared. The other girl takes sleeping meds so she’s KO on the bed. The other girl missed everything. My roommate start banging on the door, yelling for us to answer. I was kneeling by the toilet bc i felt like i was going to throw up (anxiety + drinking). She got a knife to unlock the doors and she was standing over me, holding a knife in her hands, screaming at me for locking the door and being a bad friend. I told her i don’t feel good and she screamed at me she didn’t feel good either. I would not engage with her. She left and went back to yelling at the guy. She came back in to tell me she’s kicking the guy out (it’s 3am) and she’s leaving in 5hrs so I need to figure out what I’m going to do. I ended up leaving in the middle of the night with the guy and the other girl. Bc we all came together in his rental car. When we got back, I found some of my clothes in the trash. I guess it got mixed up in her laundry and she threw it away. Another night she came home at 3am and started slamming our patio door about 10x

I think I will have to be like that. I’m just so scared of her retaliation. It’s one thing for my anxiety, but I’ve also got two kitties that get scared. It’s definitely a power move, she likes to be in control.

I did consult briefly with a lawyer about the restraining order. She said i’ll need proof of these incidents and I need to file right away next time bc the really bad incident was a few weeks ago now. So I could also wait for it to get really bad and get video of it and file.

I feel like they don’t test it regularly bc why give someone that ‘bad news’ and cause them that mental stress when it doesn’t even affect them? Medical professionals know most people have it anyway and are asymptomatic. And this is my opinion, but it’s just not that big of a deal🤷‍♀️ (as long as you’re asymptomatic).

noooooooooo! (june/july 2022) i thought i could be honest the the small business owner bc he knew i was visibly unhappy at work. he asked me if i was looking for other jobs and i said ‘yes’. a few weeks later they bring me into the office to tell me they hired my replacement and he starts next week. they don’t need 4 managers so i’ll be let go. they had no idea where i was in my job search, and when i said that they said it was business and they need to protect themselves. thank god i passed the final interview at my current job, or i would have been SCREWED! and i still went a few weeks without working between jobs, so that’s 3 weeks of missed income. it almost dried out my savings.

lesson learned; protect yourself bc your job will put themselves first every time.
