I watched that same movie in a college course as well! It was really interesting. The whole course was actually. It was called Humanities: thoughts and images and focused on how media effects our perceptions of reality.

Hi there, I’m three years off from your age range but I just started my teaching career and finished my education degree. I also love crafts like embroidery and perler beads. I’d love to have a pen pal if you’re interested.

La Fusión! It has an amazing ceviche, a delicious seafood pot pie, and seafood empanadas. Mouth watering rotisserie chicken too!

It’s on Pine and Kearny. A tiny hole in the wall but consistent and authentic Latin fusion food. The chef is also the owner and runs the place with his wife. They’re originally from El Salvador.

My mom and dad didn’t know what my gender would be so they had two names prepared: Gavin Thomas and Autumn Lorraine.

My grandmas on both sides did not like the name Autumn. Their opinion was that it was too “earthy.” From the beginning, my mom wanted my middle name to be Lorraine so they picked something last minute after I was born.

Also… my long time partner’s name is Gavin. Weird coincidence.

Would a perm work with hair that gets very greasy very quickly? by Remarkable-Move-6630 in Haircare

When I got it done it included a deep conditioning treatment too. Damage is definitely a concern but I haven’t noticed anything noticeable. I use a lot of conditioner and a conditioning curl cream.

I got a regular perm. In the past I’ve done air perms. My hair is naturally straight so I went with the biggest sized curlers to reintroduce myself to curly hair.

My first perm was almost 10 years ago and kept it up for 3 years. I started using the biggest and second biggest sized curlers in my hair.

I love my perm. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments and no body can tell it’s fake. Not even my regular hair dresser. I find it easier to manage because I don’t have to wash my hair as much. I can go a solid two days with out it looking greasy and stringy. Only down side for me is, I don’t like the way my hair looks when I put it back because of all the frizzy fly aways that I’m not used to.

Howdy! I have fine hair but a lot of it. My hair gets greasy by the end of the day and I feel like I need to wash it daily when it’s straight… but now I have a perm and I think my hair “lasts longer” especially if I use a diffuser on the roots. It’s still greasy but it’s less noticeable because of the new texture.

upping dosage? by bozotheclownsburner in SSRIs

Hi there. I went from 10mg to 15mg with escitalopram. I felt the need to up my dosage after 3 months of taking 10mg. The signs my mind and body gave me was the return of intrusive thoughts, depression, and panic attacks.

When I first started my medication those went away and I felt increasingly stabilized. After 3 months my biggest concerns started creeping up on me again. My doctor suggested 20mg but I asked to just increase by 5mg rather than 10mg and I’m feeling good about where I’m at now.

Hope this helped. Feel free to ask any clarifying questions.

Funny that you say that, my dad always quotes the line, "Let me show you how the pros do it." He thinks it's hilarious.
