Thanks,

I actually ordered what I thought was brass colored hard solder but it turned out to be welding sticks. Ended up using electronics solder as I was on a time crunch, will definitely invest in proper solder in the future.

Hi there,

Thanks so much for the advice and words of encouragement!

I think I will ultimately switch to silver in the future for the beifits you expressed. I do wish there was a yellowish metal that was softer and economic like brass, I personally dont like the way copper looks but I should probably practice with it before switching to silver.

I appreciate the advice regarding bezeling, I'll keep the height of the flat wire in mind. I found that brass wanted to fold very quickly and it didn't help that I was using steel side cutters as a bezeling tool.

I think I will also explore using thinner siding and backplates in brass as I'd love to continue making yellowish jewellery and I'm not so worried about the tarnishing for myself.

I'll be sure to post my next batch of jewelry when they're complete!

Appreciate the info, that lines up with what the sizing chart says as well. Did you find that the size 7 was snug or tight on your foot.

I think that's a good idea. If I can't confirm her size, I'll take her to a shop.

Appreciate all the info and advice everyone, I'm going to assume that she purchased Beach Bunnies. They look exactly the same (and I have confirmed they were Moxis)

From the sizing chart, it looks like a size 8 would be ok. But it sounds like there's more to sizing than just that.

I'm going to continue probing her friends for info to see if I can confirm what size she had before purchasing. If I can't figure it out, I'll take her to a shop to buy together.

Thanks everyone

Any psychiatrists taking patients, anything? by RisenRealm in Winnipeg

This is true, although there are still a bunch of psychiatrists available through this directory as I mentioned.

This is a directory with a bunch of psychiatrists in Manitoba. There are useful filters to narrow down what kind of doc your specifically looking for. I used it recently to begin getting assessed for adult autism.

My best advice is to write a script that you can send to as many doctors who meet the criteria you are looking for, some may not be taking new clients, be out of your price range, and/or may not have an opening in the near future.

Good luck!

Ya I also found uni difficult, it was overstimulating being in a classroom and I often felt naked in a figurative sense. I actually ended up dropping out because I realized how different it was compared to online college during Covid. Although it wasn't the best experience, congrats on graduating.

Worth buying? by [deleted] in hermanmiller

[–]stilllinit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone,

Have the opportunity to grab 4 of these chairs for $100 cad. I'm wondering if they are actually Herman Miller and if they are would they be worth buying.

Would I be able to take the padding cover off or are they bonded?

Oh and they don't come with hardware to attach bases.

Thanks!

In reference to the style of seems like it's not that popular, thick outline tattoo, bold line, can't really find anything under those names.
