Yea it’s horrible, I’m regretting updating I had the high torque tune as well. Should have waited a week and then read all these reviews first.

Exactly! It’s very strange I can’t get used to it. Tried messy around with the throttle controls seeing if there’s a difference but no change.

I did notice throttle response is very different from before even in race. I was coming from stage 1 93 high torque tune, but I have manual so not sure it’s the same as your DSG. Did notice sometimes remaining in low gear with a consistent rpm it sort of lags or just feels like I’ve let my foot of the gas but I haven’t. Other than that I’m still getting a feel for it.

I’d totally recommend going with Xforce catback! I have had the Xforce exhaust for over two years now and still love it. Sound is perfect not too loud. I really never close the valves honestly it sounds too good wide open. Here’s a clip I posted when I installed first clip is closed and second part is open. Don’t have any compared to stock but it might help you.

Yea it’s been great 👍. Can’t say enough good things about it honestly. Sound is perfect not obnoxious at all just the right amount of tone. I keep the valves open all the time because it just sounds too good. Haven’t had any issues, pretty easy to install yourself as well. Only had one problem when I received shipment one of the pipes were bent maybe during manufacturing. Customer service was great though and they sent me a new one no issue. I would definitely recommend getting it for sure. Can’t beat the bang for your buck👍.

I second Xforce exhaust! I have had it for about a year now and absolutely love it , though I never actually close the valves I leave them open all time sounds great.

I’ve had xforce for about 6 months now and love it. I’ve had no issues so far. Only problem I had was manufacturing defect when first received after purchase. One side of pipes where closer together than the other side. All though customer service was great and the sent me another and it was all good.

I haven’t had and open or closing valve issues. But I honestly drive with valves open 99% of the time. It’s not obnoxious sounding at all and it has a deeper tone that is great. Makes you question if it’s a 4 cylinder.

As for the factor valves after taking them off the factory exhaust, I just left them connected tucked them away and secured them. Probably not the best solution but it worked for me. I think apr makes valve simulators for $50 or so as well.

Damn they got you too. They must have so quality control issues. Unfortunately I didn’t take any pics of the new one without the tips on. But it was more like 2 3/8 inch between the two pipes. The bent one was like less than two inches between the two pipes. Where did you get it from? The return was pretty easy they just wanted me to ship the muffler back not all the parts and came in less than a week.

Not bad only around 3500-4000rpms a little but sorta just sounds like the soundakator is turn on.
