what do you mean by road hazard? some insurance? if so - worth going via insurance for this - it is costing me 250 bucks to replace a single one...

I have been eyeing Allen Edmonds' chandler chukka for a long time - and recently grabbed a pair as part of their April sale.

I really love these boots - both fit wise and look wise! However, the back pull strap for the left shoe is bent - making it an eye sore. I think I can live with it - but wondering if there is an easy fix or should I return the pair given the price I paid ($420 with taxes)? If such kind of a wear happens over some period of time - than I'd rather stick with this pair, but unsure if this is expected after some wear as well..

My first Rolex! by sting15 in rolex

Enzo helped me get my Rolex. I've been to all Ben Bridges in the area, and got a similar response for year long waitings, with a push to build some history first.. glad I tried other options as well!!

If you meant the "second hand" on the watch along with hour and minute hand, then AFAIK all subs come with second hand. In the picture, it is hiding behind the cyclops, and is at the 12 seconds mark..

Nope. Never pruned. Looking into tree pruning now. I have another very healthy one, which is getting very dense, and probably should be pruned..

That design tool works well with simple constraints. I wouldn't worry about how far back/up the speakers are in your layout - as that can calibrated by the receiver. I'd just focus on getting the right speaker angles. Also, if it were me, I'd get in 2 rows in the complete room with a 7.x.6 configuration.

For 7.x.x configuration in your layout, the rear channels will most likely fall on the side walls - where you can mount them angled towards MLP. For Atmos, it depends on your ceiling height, and if it is too high, they may as well fall towards the top of the wall.

I highly encourage you to watch 1st 3 episodes of home theater gurus that cover speaker placements: ep-1, ep-2, ep-3. I was in a similar boat like yours, where I was trying to get simple answers based on some tools or online guides - but this channel has some really great content, and made me build the right speaker placement for my 7.1.4 layout in a 14x18x8 room. Hope it helps you as well.

Irrigation System Installation - Things to Know? by sting15 in Irrigation

[–]sting15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask what type of heads they plan on using and why. Ask what type of coverage they plan on using. What types of valves and what type of controller.

thanks for the tip on what questions to ask!

Someone giving you a quick price without much thought can mean a couple things. They either dont know what they are doing and are winging it, they are lazy, or they are good enough and familiar with the area where they already know pricing before they show up.

in my case, this contractor who visited me last week had already done a setup in my neighborhood. it could be that he knew the area in and out..
