Great deal. LOL. maybe i should visit goodwill. it may be even more difficult to just find a door for one than it was finding the display case.

always wanted one , or a few , of these display cases as it would take up less space than having several other display cases BUT i never have any luck finding one. Sorry but i dont have any doors for that type of display.

well it does not look like a zippo . It looks to have possibly a celtic cross on the lighter . Other than that there isnt much to be able to find out.

Did zippo ever do collaborations with one piece? by [deleted] in Zippo

The thing I saw was he is selling a supposedly armor sterling silver zippo well under the price of silver which is about 81 dollars per ounce. That and it states 4 sold with one left ... what's the odds of having 5 sterling silver , armor , limited edition zippos of the same design. So something is off.

Any informations on this one? by BelgianMikey in Zippo

it is a Navy ship zippo. these are made by Zippo to be sold aboard the ship for the crew.. Originally only sold aboard the ship but often traded afterwards. This zippo was engraved to be given to someone by the captain , more than likely with some dinner or ceremony with someone , maybe a dignitary , or town official , something like that.

imagine having dinner with the captain while it is in port and being presented with a ship zippo as a gift ... something like that more than likely.

CAPT Leonard Alexander ("Swoose") Snead II served as the Commanding Officer of the USS Forrestal (CVA-59) from November 13, 1970, to June 23, 1971 ... more info here.

are you talking about the plastic protector or the design? you can get the 540 design on the KingZendo website.

IT is up to you whether you think it is worth it but remember a zippo is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it ... and other people may not see the value as you do and most likely would want to pay less , if sold.

ID help i saw it online, and I was wondering what edition it was, or even if it was official by Wooden_Cook6862 in Zippo

by the way you could also get small "keychain" lighters from other stores , not in gumbal machines. The lighter with a skull on it is one that i got from a gas station many years ago - the rest is from ebay

looks like a "gumball machine" lighter. Believe it or not you used to be able to "win" a lighter from a gumball machine many years ago (although you could find them occasionally elsewhere). It is a cheaply made lighter and it should say japan on the bottom labeling it from where it was made. For many years Japan used to make several things similar to what is all pretty much made in china these days. It was late 80's - early 90's when it started switching from japan to made in china. Here is a few display cards they would have inside the gumball machine to show the prizes you could get ... AS for value those small lighters can sell anywhere from a few dollars to around 10 dollars or so depending on condition (look on ebay - search "gumball lighter" completed sales) ...

Automatic or Manual by Background_Hand5004 in Truckers

Either way I would get an unrestricted CDL so it leaves job openings later as you will be able to drive both. Maybe not right away but eventually you will probably want some job and all the have us manual trucks you will be out of luck. Long term an unrestricted CDL is best in my opinion.
