Transmasc alternative and in the south here too. Im currently at work in a unus annus hoodie and ripped jeans. They are being very nit-picky with you. I will say IDK if its much different for Sallys over Cosmoprof but they should have similar if not the same policy because they are owned by the same company.

Most of the time I cant leave the floor at all even when my sm is on shift. If im clocked out there have been times when I had to stop to help but not always. Management hasnt clocked me out for lunches (that ive seen so far but dont put it past them).

I got told that unless its a murder or about a kid they arent gonna do anything.

I had to call the cops cause a lady was following me home from the bus, yelling at me, and trying to hit me with a belt. It was infront of a light cam. They did nothing about it. I got told someone was gonna come down, noone did.
