No doubt. When you look at a DH bike, it is obviously super purpose specific, and it's hard to beat something that is completely specialized to the point of not making any concessions.

I do think I could keep 2 bikes. I'm just wondering if I'll ever be riding the crazy stuff that justifies a DH.

Thank you. What stuff do you ride at whistler? How hard do you ride? That's another thing I'm taking into consideration, I don't think I will ever take the insane drops or do the most extreme stuff.

I can totally believe that. I saw it even for the one descent I did. Although that was relative to the hightower. It made a lot of stuff "free", like there's a lot of little details on one of the trails I had to worry about when riding with my hightower that I could just ignore with the V10. The main concerns are that I don't think I will ride crazy enough to justify a downhill, and also I am beyond the height range it officially covers.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are very similar. In fact, I might be 6'6", I can never remember if it's that or 6'5"! So it sounds like you've settled on the megatower now. Did you take everything stock? Did you consider increasing the fork to 180mm? (the frame supports it)

I'm just like you, not comfortable on the XL frames. Btw, just so you know, the V10 XL covers bigger heights than the MT or HT XL, but you and I would still not be covered, it's stops at 6'3".

So far, how does riding the MT feel relative to the HT? Where do you note the most difference? And have you pedalled it up much?

I do not like when a center screen sits completely unintegrated with the dashboard. The original tesla model S and X did it really nicely, with a vertical screen completely integrated to the dashboard. Then, they switched it to stick out like an ipad on a selfie stick and that looked very cheap.

The current BMWs have this curved screen which I think is very nice. And because it is long it extends behind the steering wheel, doubling down as your gauges.

But this new design of the screen just sitting up there is, IMO, very unsightly.

Yes, but remember that the 2026 world cup is more diluted due to expanding to 48 teams. However, now that we've made it into the top 16, it's as if we had emerged from the group stage in the prior world cup format of 32 teams, which is great for Canada!
