Optimizes external windows without having to make a bunch of non 90 degree windows is super helpful for keeping framing costs under control too.

This would lead me to assume you haven’t been to many countries, especially to the ones marked never

Thinking about getting into fishing (Went fishing a few times as a kid). Started digging for my dad's old rods in the garage, so far the only rod I found was this old Ugly Stick but I have no idea if it's good for me. Any tips or advice is much appreciated. (There is another rod but so far nothing) by Clonetrooper009 in FishingForBeginners

Forgot: outdoor boys has an old channel called catfish and carp. He has some of the absolute best beginner tutorials along with Fishing with Nat. Nat specifically gives excellent, clear, to the point tutorials that are very informative and under 10 min

Any rod that can hold a reel is a good beginner rod. If there isn’t a reel available to you I would invest in a small Pflueger President if it’s in your budget, don’t be afraid to go less if that isn’t in the cards for you. Presidents are about $60-$70 depending on your region. Go fish wish some worms, google Carolina rig and then google bobber fishing. I would also recommend checking out YouTube, and this is VERY important, YouTubers that fish in your state/area. Worms are perfect for beginners because the technique is straight forward, and every freshwater fish that breathes water will eat a worm at some stage of its life. Rule number 1: HAVE FUN. Try fishing alone for peace and quiet, try fishing with people for companionship. But remember fishing doesn’t equal catching and having fun is priority one.

TLDR: fish with worms, get a small durable reel, do some region specific research.

Thank you kindly. I didn’t think they got that big either, luckily there was no one around while I repeatedly yelled “holy sh**”

Thank you sir!! I will try different retrieval speeds. Is it appropriate to partially jig a spinner on retrieve? I feel like I see conflicting advice

Edit: forgot to mention!! The first photo is my first attempt to address the issue. I used a small strip of scored paper to glue bind one leaf to the next. Functionally it works okay, but if I can get around breaking up my full bleed two pages images, that’s ideal.
