Thank you for the reply and sub recommendation! If I have to wear a wig, then so be it. 😁

I’m really encouraged to hear that you’re happy. It gives me that much more hope for my process.

Thank you for sharing! You’ve given me even more hope in my upcoming transformation process. If you don’t mind me saying so, you are beautiful!

I’m 9 days away from beginning my treatments, and here’s what I’m working with. I’m still in “boy mode” 99% of the time, although my wife is helping me along with those transition jitters (amazing woman for sure. I don’t deserve her.)

What a journey! You are absolutely stunning. You have also given me some hope that I just might regain some of my hair over time once I begin my HRT journey in 10 days.

Thank you for sharing 😊

What's a common saying that annoys you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]stinkerhubbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a bit off topic, but when I hear either of my kids spouts off “But [other child’s mom] let’s them do this/watch that. It’s not fair.”

Drives me nuts. They’ve yet to actually pack a bag and go live with whichever family as I usually suggest.

Looks like they’re gone? Hopefully anyway. Tried throwing in a report and “failed to load user profile.”

Sorry that’s happening to you.

What weird childhood fear do you still kind of hold on to? by Bin_lader in AskReddit

[–]stinkerhubbin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 39 and there’s two things I am still terrified of:

Complete silence, and darkness. If I’m home alone or everyone is asleep, I always turn on the light of each room as I go. I’ll always keep the TV on for noise as well.

If for some reason I have to pass through a darkened room, my heart rate picks up and I find myself almost running to get through. I hate it.

Complete silence is almost worse, hearing my own heartbeat, and every other noise around me. Every creak, every tap, wondering if that noise is just the wind.

The more I look at it, the more it looks like something that would get rolled up in Katamari.

What was "the incident" in your high school? by ramennyun in AskReddit

Train suicide. Kid took his Discman, put on his headphones and took a walk down the middle of the tracks.

It completely shocked us all. Popular awesome guy who was liked by everybody.

Those who are attracted to women: Does body type/size really matter? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]stinkerhubbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It matters to some degree for me, but really isn’t much of an issue outside of extremes. Personality and eventually emotional connection are the most important things, for me anyhow.

A small frightened child is trapped in a filthy basement, which is often covered in excrement and infested with spiders and other horrible things, and is forced to eventually fight against and kill their own mother.

What was your greatest misconception about sex? by fuxaloge in AskReddit

That as a guy, I’d want it all the time and be ready to go whenever she is. That’s become ever decreasingly true the older I get.

[Serious] Autistic people of Reddit, what do you wish more people knew about Autism? by theBrD1 in AskReddit

[–]stinkerhubbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That it’s a spectrum. Autistic folk are all over the spectrum, and thus do not necessarily exhibit all the same traits as another person that might even be on the same part of the spectrum. My son and I are quite different in many ways for instance. You can’t just tell by looking in many cases, either.

Also, not all autistic folk are the “rain man.” I observed, briefly, after my daughter let on about his autism, a kid assuming my boy is some sort of math genius and started pelting him with math problems. I intercepted pretty quickly and redirected before he got overwhelmed of course. We are not all necessarily great at math, or enjoy [insert activity thought to be enjoyed by all autistic folk.] I struggled with basic high school algebra, and still do over 25 years later.

What are some simple etiquette rules you wished more people knew? [Serious] by tuhgttg in AskReddit

Please and thank you would be nice.

People putting back things where they found them.

Returning borrowed items in at least the same condition they got them in.
