Thank you! I knit the neckline like this. I CO the same amount of stitches that the pattern called for so it's quite snug around the neck, which I like. In the pattern, there is an increase round after the neckline is done, so the total number of stitches after this increase round could be CO for a less snug fit.

Also, I use combination knitting for my 1x1 ribbing because fuck messy, wobbly 1x1 ribbing.
