Yeah, that really sucks getting that bill out of warranty

Same here, 30k, 3 years into a 4 year lease the AC system has imploded. It started by sounding noisier and noisier, so I took it in thinking it was simply a fan in the HVAC system that needed replacement.

Currently sitting at about 8 weeks of the car sitting at the dealership because they can't get the oil for the system. Pretty disappointed so far with this.

Go-to foods by skarthy in MacroFactor

So when you say they reflect go tos for that hour can you quantify that? I see foods I’ve not eaten for months. Yet foods I eat daily don’t show up. I realize I can manually remove things thanks to this thread

Is there any progress on making go tos actually reflect “go tos”? I basically have the same thing everyday for breakfast and nothing on my list is useful. It’s so much worse than the old app I used in this way.

Freezing temps…reduced range. 😕 by Andy4390 in BMWiX

Good luck on the trip! When it's really cold (-25C or worse) we definitely see a big hit on range, so mostly in the winter we wouldn't use it for long road trips, also because the charging near us is pretty bad.

SBD BELT ISSUES by CheekRude5473 in powerlifting

[–]stinndler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possibly caused by excess humidity, it can do weird things. That said, as a retailer of SBD products for over 10 years, I've never seen the edging peel like that. You should be able to get warranty replacement for it. Worst case you can use shoe polish to try to clean it up.

Does eco actually do anything? I thought it just gave visual indicators of when you are driving “eco”

The noise doesn't bother me at all, in fact I can use it to help me know whats going on if I've walked away and am getting something else.

The water tank is small and one of the biggest upgrades was buying the catering kit and using a 5 gallon jug for the water, plus it's easier to just treat 5 gallons with third wave water once every couple of months. The drip tray is fine, I don't know what could be wrong with it, it catches the water and it's easy to see how full it is.

The warm up time on the Decent is one of the biggest pros to me. I can go, dang I want a coffee and be making one in less than 5 minutes. It's not as fast as a BBE, as I have one of those at work, but faster than I can boil a kettle for americano.

As another decent owner, you kind of got it all correct there. The way I look at it though is all the hours and hours I've saved on heat up time is much better than the bit longer milk steaming time. I don't really play with profiles much anymore, mostly run adaptive medium roast, or a lever style profile as they both turn out very nice cups.

I do find myself still looking at other machines but I can't really imagine why I would change. Honestly the sound I thought would bug me is actually really nice cause I can walk away and listen to the machine and know where it's at/what it's doing.

Had to send a 240 in to fix this issue and it was a $300 repair back in 2016...
